Safer, no, but I would prefer a bit of balance on the risk/reward side of ganking. Other than sec status which just needs grinding and ratting to sort, it's too cheap to gank large indies at will. That's all that bothers me about it

ahh well I'm just going by the usual comments when such suggestions are made, although a lot of it seems to be playing to audience for the laughs.

But not having any in depth discussions with goons or first hand knowledge of their wider opinions, I can only go by the hype and rumour mill

Not a good idea, love Goons or hate them the fact is they pay their subs they play the game therefore have as much right as anyone to run for the CSM.
