Huge framerate drops opening windows inside of eve

I have been able to play eve normally at high FPS for about 2 years until recently. Starting about a month ago I got an issue where attempting to open windows such as the market, faction warfare tab, and character sheet cause huge frame rate drops, that seem to 'infect' the client and cause other 'normal' activities like undocking, jumping, targeting to cause huge frame rate drops and lag.

As an example, everything will be fine, I can roam about, get fights, whatever, but then I go back to buy more stuff, open my market window - game hangs for several seconds. Search for an item - game hangs for several seconds and then choppily starts working again. Select the item - game hangs up again, and so on, for the entirety of the use of the market window. So having, bought my new stuff, I head back out, but now undocking hangs the client, jumping gate hangs the client, and so on... it's unbearable.

*This affects all my accounts
*This doesn't start occurring until I open a window like market/character sheet/FW menu
*This persists until I restart the client
*Logging in takes significantly longer than before, and hangs up quite a bit
*Several others I have talked to report the same issue, starting around the same time (about a month ago)
*This makes the game basically unplayable until fixed

For further info, I did try to use the monitor (ctrl+alt+shift+M) to see what I could gather from it, under the logging tab, opening the affected windows throws a huge number of errors (50+) and a lot of 'time slice' warnings. I tried to save these logs but the game just generates a blank document. I'll be honest, I don't know what most of the stuff I'm looking at under the monitor is, but I can't imagine that large of a vomit of errors being a good thing.

Any ideas?

I get this exact problem as well. Severe fps drops when opening and closing windows, this problem has only started to happen recently.

Any progress been made to fix this?

I found that turning off the window transparency (using the sliders) seemed to improve the speed of opening. You can only do it for unpinned windows though :(
