The Gankaton is back!

Mark you calendars, the date for Gankaton XV is set for Saturday 2013.06.15

Where our Odyssey will take us this time is not yet decided as it will somewhat depend on sign ups here.
We aim to start the Gank at 20:00



As we approach the date this post will be updated with a location - Suffice to say that it will be somewhere central in Copenhagen, Denmark, as per usual.

The Copenhagen Gankaton™ have over time grown from a small group of six people all from DK to somewhere around 150+ people (at times) from most of northern Europe (the last few times it's been in the 30-40 range)

Lots of people are showing up at each Gankaton, but we always have a good deal of new people turning up as well.
We have miners, pirates, mercenaries, production managers, noobs, mission runners, hardcore warriors, in other words... all of EVE.

In short ... if you like a cold beer, a fun evening in the city and good talk about EVE then you should drop by at the next Gankaton.


You're welcome to bring your significant others and anyone else who might be interested; there's no signup other than our curiosity about who will be there!

The Pre-Gank

As we are celebrating
- Ourself
- EVEs 10 year anniversary
- The Odyssey expansion
- Solstice
Approximatly in that order :-)

It's been decided to expand the Gank with a pre-Gank this time as well - Starting at 18:00 (somewhere to be decided, depending on sign-ups)
There has been numerous "private" pre-Ganks over the years, but this time we've decided to make an "official" one.

So whats a pre-Gank?
Basically it's a chance to get something to eat (to better survive the Gank), and be able to talk to your fellow EVE player, and have a chance to remember what you talked about (aka before everyone gets too much too drink...)
Aka - A bit more "low key" affair than what the rest of the night usually turns out to be :-)

We are aiming this to be at most 10-15 or so people or it gets unmanagable.
It's fine to take part in the pre-Gank and not the actual Gank, or vice-versa, or both.

Note that sign-ups for the pre-Gank are "binding" (as opposed to the Gank itself), as we probably need to order some tables somewhere
