Hi Guys,

So most of you don't know me and the ones of you that do most likely have not enjoyed my presence to much! I Am not a very "nice person" and like most of us here in CnP, I take a delight in the chaos of other players..... Confusion and frustration are my drugs of choice.


[BACK STORY]

I ran into Erotica 1 several weeks ago on one of my jita scamming alts. I like to do margin scams where I basically put up an item for sale, and then a buy order for a higher amount. You buy the item and I cancel the buy order.. leaving you high and dry. Its my FTM and I do pretty well on it. So im sitting there minding my own business, with a convo open where a dude was requesting that I put my buy order back up or refund his money. I was of course trolling him trying to explain to him how my client was glitching out and that I couldnt put the buy order back up... but if he just held on to the item I was sure to have the buy order back up just as soon as I could, and that I REALLY NEEDED what he had.

So having taken this dude for a couple bill, I was curious about Erotica's game. As a scammer, I tend to know all the angles and wouldnt touch her with a 10 foot pole... however she had the support of so many in local, and then she had outstanding personalities like Psychotic Monk, whom I have used as a third party for super carrier trades before. I figured that I would bite and see what she had to offer.. I mean after all Psychotic Monk ran for CSM and I had used his 3rd party service before. Surely he wouldn't put his name on anything that was not legit right?

So I read the rules in which I am going to qoute below


I read them pretty quickly and was like alright no problem, and sent over 50m. Got back 100m.... Outstanding, so it seemed that I had this on lock down... after all I read the rules right? Im smart I thought to my self and sent her over 100m. I didn't get anything back... waited a while, and well still nothing. So assuming I got taken like all the other isk double scams out there I convo up Mr. Monk... to express to him my anger that he would put his good name at risk for something like this and threatened to out him on the forums and to "bring down" his legitly ran 3rd party service.

After a few moments, he calmed me down and refunded my lost 100m. He expressed to me that I had not read the rules properly, and that I should reflect a little harder on them before trying again. He told me he couldn't ruin her game, and that I would not get another freebie from him. However, he refunded my money and once again assured me that she was legit.. I just needed to have a little more patience and focus on her rules a bit better. I apologized once again to the great Psychotic Monk for threatening him, and blowing up needlessly.. He graciously accepted my apology and we went about our business..

For three days, I sat up and studied the rules, and like some crazy redbulled calculating monster, I worked her game out... I figured out how indeed she was able to make ISK off of such things! So this time armed, and ready to cause some chaos to this honest persons business, as which I like... I purchased 3 plexes, and logged into Jita local... I felt like a card counter walking into a casino, a little bit nervous, but armed with enough knowledge to "take the house down" so to speak.

In one epic fell swoop across 5 alts, I was able to clean her out for 25b! One of my biggest scores as of yet. She most def took notice, and started to figure out that the alt accounts were mine... most likely because five people all at once seemed to know exactly how to play the game all at one time. I am sure this is not something she gets a lot. So she sucked up a 3b deposit of mine and informed me when I convoed her pretending to be innocent that she was on to me.. and that I would get no more ISK.

See guys, I have this temper problem when things do not go my way.. I tend to explode a little bit on people. I have tried New Eden Anger Management, but those hippy tree huggers with all their deep breaths and counting.. I just cant take them seriously so I have to cope. Anyway I digress, So I exploded and told her that if she did not give me 20b, that I would out her "little game" on the forums and tell everyone about the rules, and her angle and how to win... she would loose far more then 20b because people who know exactly how to play her game. She laughed at me and told me noone read the forums and that it wouldn't even hurt her a little bit. So guys, here I am about to release how to play and put her on her knees.. where of course all good people of new eden deserve to be!

[Rules Break Down]

Rules:

Send me 50M-500M, get 2x back.

Send 600M to 1 Billion get 3x back.
Invest 3-5 Billion and get 5x back!

over 50 BILLION liquid isk, over 250 billion in assets, so your amounts can be easily covered. However, I do limit 3 investments per player. This is necessary to keep business afloat. Each investment must be at least 2x what you received just prior. Toons must be >4 weeks old.

Rules are straight-forward. Amounts not listed are donations.


The first paragraph, is just a disclaimer explaining the game, and that if you follow the rules then you will be able to make isk, and she goes on to inform you that most people do not follow the rules (which is very true and I know why). She then lists the amounts you can play or "invest" (Cool) as she puts it. She then also lists the rewards that you get for each play that you choice to make. She then goes on to list three m

She then goes on to list three more rules... all of which are resoundingly important but are intended to be distracting.. They only hint at the real rules here.. and this is where the secret comes into play!


  • I do limit 3 investments per player (She puts a limiting factor on your plays.. VERY IMPORTANT later you will see why)
  • Each investment must be at least 2x what you received just prior (Mathmatically this is omega important)
  • Amounts not listed are donations. (the most important rule)
  • Toons must be >4 weeks old


These rules seem straight forward, and she even mentions that they are... HOWEVER they are not... the most straight forward one is the last one. Not really my fault if you mess that one up guys. Its pretty plain jane, now on to.... *drum roll please*


[The Take Down]

First and formost, I would like to say that she did this to her self, if she would have just paid me then we could have all went about our merry way.... and she could have continued to make money vegas style... but now her house of cards falls. Erotica, let me just get you some knee pads or a pillow? kk.....


So guys, this game is designed to only have a few "paths" of plays that will end up paying out past the first play. She takes advantage of the fact that most people are greedy and after their first play is paid out they will just reinvest all of the isk they won on their second play and that is where she burns you! Lets revisit the rules here specifically this one:

Amounts not listed are donations. So you look at the amounts and you see ranges... however if you use your noggin like I did at first, and you release that the numbers with in those ranges "are not listed" you discover the first piece of the puzzle. So you reread the rules and replace "to" or "-" with "or" you are first on the right track. So lets modify them:

Ok so here we establish the only set of possible play values. Which is 50m, 500m, 600m, 1b, 3b, and 5b... That is it those are the only amounts that are "truely listed" the "-" and "to" is part of her game and are only there to make you feel like there are a larger amount of plays then there really is.

Now I feel like a few of us have already figured this part out, and might make a bit of isk here or there on it, simply because its a "little bit" more oblivious then the other part. The trick is to get her pay out past the first payment, so lets look at the other rule.. this one is now much more important then it apeared to be at face value:

Each investment must be at least 2x what you received just prior

So your second play is where stuff starts to get tricky. We have a list of values that are valid plays, and we know that our second play must be at least 2x what we got back from our last play.

THE PART PEOPLE MISS IS!!!! That it STILL! has to fall in one of those values, so if you send 50m and get back 100m, and then send 200m, she is just going to keep it... even though it passes the "2x rule" it does not pass the "listed values rule" there for you fail and she wins. Of course in screen shots she will tell you that the play would have been valid or that shes getting her wallet spammed.... things like that.. welll duh she does not want to out her rules! She has to make you understand you lost the game with out telling you why...

[SOLUTION]

The game mathematically is designed to only have a few paths of plays that allow the player to start small and scale up. She is looking to get them to make mistakes. However, after some serious calculmalations I have figured them out! THe possible play paths!

50m -> 500m -> 3b Is the most prime one.. and it paid out over 8 times for me until she caught on that they were all alts. Its the only path that allows you to use all three plays and not break the rules... lets look at some plays that break the rules:

3b -> 6b -> 12b This breaks the rules because 6b is not a listed amount.

500m -> 1b -> 3b This breaks the rules because 1b is not 2x what you would get back

500m -> 2b -> 4b This breaks the rules because 2b and 4b are not listed amounts..


So there is the magic guys! 50m -> 500m -> 3b is the only way I have calculated thus far that takes advantage of all three plays, AND follows all the rules, hidden or otherwise!

Also, if you are reading this, you better catch it and get your pay day before she sees it, I would expect her to change her rules up after she reads this post!


Anyway guys! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clean this ***** out, I can NOT have honest isk doublers ruining the good name of scamming isk doublers!

No. That's a profit of 12.55 Bil. Had you just sent 5 bil to start with for a one time payout, you would get a profit of 20 bil. You fell for one of the traps of the system - trying to get three payouts (which can still be done, with 5bil on the last)

Wow. It's a game and you're a (self proclaimed) scammer. Your main purpose to ruin other player's gaming experience. I'm not sure what I find more disturbing - the zealousness in which you took the time to post something like this or the twisted processes that are going on in your mind.

Please understand, they ruin their own gaming experience. I never once force them to fall for my scams. I only put them out there. I don't want to ruin anyones experiences, I just think the general ways to make isk in eve are boring....... Scamming is exciting. Please good sir, get some redbull and reflect :)

At what point did did blocking this scam seem like MORE work than working out the rules of a scam?

The fact is IT IS A SCAM.

Rules are pointless in a scam.

At any point, the scammer can simply TAKE YOUR ISK AND RUN.

Who are you going to appeal to when this scammer takes your 3bil isk and runs? You gonna go post in C&P with your bountiful forum lawyer proof and hope that CCP gives you your money back because you worked out "rules' for a scam and stayed within them and a scammer broke their word and made off with your 3bil isk?





Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If anything this "coming clean" bit will give her game more validity. Even knowing the "rules as you see them" a slight tweak here or there and her reputation is cleaner than ever and game intact.

I would like to congratulate OP on finally having injected reading comprehension, however you may want to put it in the Q.

All jokes aside most players who read the forums were able to immediately dissern Erotica1's penitent for scams and blocked her. Most C&P readers either decoded her rules on the first pass or came to the conclusion on their own while cooking up means of separating ISK from those less skilled in the arts of reading comprehension.

On a side note I happen to be New Eden's original ISK halver. I have no fancy bio or cooky rules. It's really easy. Just send me any amount of ISK and I will send half back. No questions asked.

I don't get why you make things so complicated ... why is the build-up to the 3rd bracket even necessary? why not just send 5b and get 25b back?

You are also omitting the extra rule at the bottom of Erotica's bio.

And if you did indeed spend several days looking over the rules then you really should also have noticed that Erotica is perfectly capable of writing correct English on these forums - but that the English her rules are written in appears to be broken at times.
