Drone Bay Modules

Seems pretty straight forward. A module that adds a drone bay that doesn't come standard on certain ships. It could take up a high slot or one of the other slots depending on the ship. Of course it would take up power grid and cpu and it would vary in capacity depending on the size of the ship. There would need to be different sizes for the ships. Like a small drone bay module for a frigate and a large for a battleship. It's just a thought. Any thoughts, criticism or suggestions is welcome.

Back to OP's request: http://eve-online.itemdrop.net/eve_db/items/module/dronebayexpander/. Still will never be implemented, because the Drone bay is one of the fundamental attributes used for each ship to balance it.

There is a section in this forum to present and discuss new features and idea you'd like to be in the game.

About your idea, well ... is not good for several reasons, first and most important is a totally unbalancing one.

I would also like a module.

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

Actually, don't you need 2 modules? One to add drone bay and one for band width. Make both fairly hard to fit and make sizes. A micro drone bay of 15 m^3 and a micro drone bandwidth expander of 15 Hz or whatever drove bandwidth is measured in could be about the same as 3 small turrets.

This change could let a ship sacrifice guns to become a bit more drone orriented, but still not as strong as a racial specific drone boat or the ship using it's preferred weapons. It wound even allow us to make a proph that could sport no weapons, but a full flight of sentries.

I want an ECM module with an area of effect that reaches out to 50km anyone caught in it's radius will have giant flashing obscenities that take up the whole screen appear.
