this is pretty interesting, one could start ganking T2 Frig hulls for salvage (and the occasional sisters probe launcher/covops cloak combi)

Assuming a base income rate of 20m/hr for 50 pilots the opportunity cost of waiting a mere 15 minutes is 50*20*0.25, or 250 million isk.

The freighter comes out ahead on its hull unless you gank 1 per hour.

When it gets really fun, is when five of those Catalysts shoot their own guys.

Ganking the gankers, as it were.

This is a sure guarantee for quality tears. It takes hours to days to set up a freighter gank with destroyers. It's a logistical nightmare and a lot of headaches to get everyone on the same page. And so easy to sabotage.

Ask yourself what is better:

One slightly upset freighter pilot who knew he was a target before he undocked.
Or fifty screaming, angry, crying gankers that just had their days fun utterly destroyed. The tears will be delicious!

Except as per my outline on page 2, if the OP had half a brain, he could do it for much cheaper. Probably in the 70m region, assuming you are just doing it for ***** and giggles, and not to actually make money.
