There are many lotteries in EVE Online, but in our newest Community Spotlight we take a look at the longest running one in EVE's history, the BIG Lottery.

I remember my first meeting with BIG. They abandoned us to BoB in Fountain to save their own asses. You Go, BIG.

^^^ That is one of the main reasons for my joy of running The BIG Lottery.

Actually being able to impact someones EVE experience in a major positive way.

It might be cliché, but.. It makes me feel good all over P

We where literally the last ones out, and the rest (the little that was left) had to drag us screaming and kicking out of there....

While it doesn't really belong here (and is so many years ago that +90% of EVE has no idea what it's about) I'm quite intrigued how you could have ever gotten that wrong impression of BIG

np... truly. At the time I was scraping by... barely able to afford the next Raven in Fountain... I won and I got a PIMP CNR which I have to this day. It also gave me some nice seed money. The seed grew nicely and BIG pretty much launched me into EvE. I'm in your debt!

Because every fight I showed up for, BIG was largely absent. While I have no doubt that some of you did stay, word was during the breakup of FA that most of BIG had already fled to highsec (the phrase 'take the money and run' was used a lot by certain of your former alliance mates), and that left those of us in non-alliance member corps from the surrounding area that had backed you feeling pretty peeved.
