EVE is 10 Guess the PCU Contest!

Hello everyone! We're approaching the 10th Anniversary of EVE Online and, as you might have seen, many players are making a push to break the Peak Concurrent Users record this weekend. We here at CCP think this is awesome and want to help out any way we can! After all, it is 10 years of EVE Online!

We'll have full details about what we're doing a bit later in the day, but for now we're announcing our "Guess the PCU" contest with some awesome prizes! The rules are simple...

On May 5th, between 0:00 and 17:00 GMT, send an EVE Mail to the character "CCP EVEis10" with your best guess at what the highest PCU (the number of EVE Online players connected to Tranquility) for the day will be. Please place your guess in the body of the e-mail. Guesses sent before 0:00 on the 5th will be deleted.

One entry per account only, and we will be checking! Anyone who attempts to make two entries on one account will be disqualified

There will be ten prizes awarded to the closest guessers.

Prizes:
o First place wins 1 x GTX 680 video card
o Second place wins 1 x EVE Collector’s Edition
o Third, fourth, and fifth place get 10 x PLEX each
o Sixth-Tenth place get one XL Razer t-shirt each

Ties will be broken via random draw.

For those wondering, PCU stands for Peak Concurrent Users, or basically a point in time where the most accounts were logged in at the same time. You can find the current number of logged-in accounts at the login splash of the EVE client, where it says "Active Pilots: xx,xxx" or something very similar to that.

EDIT: as far as I could tell, the current PCU is 63,170, according to this article which was posted on March 4.

so it looks like a bunch of nublets dont know what pcu is i would put it in the op... for those who dont know pcu is players loged in last record was 63k in 2011
