Rookie here. I logged on today and had an evemail from Alli Ancbye in Gicodel asking me to come and accept a very important mission (2011 11 01 23.10) when I navigated there, she was unavailable. There was no info in my journal (as the messg indicated there would be) and when I accepted the mission that was there, from Alitura, it had nothing to do with Gicodel.

What am I missing?

This is a guess: had you, last time you played, run a mission for Alli? You see, every 16 missions of the same level for the same faction results in your getting an offer for a storyline mission (a very important mission is how the game usually describes it). When you do, the mission offer appears in your neo-com tab for mission offers but you are also sent an eve mail from the agent. It's quite easy to miss the mail; if you do it'll still be hanging in your mail files even after you've completed the mission.

I suspect you got the offer and ran the mission without reading the mail, so when you logged on the next time you found the mail light blinking.

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.

Sounds like Gavin DeVries might have figured it out.

Allicuere Ancbye is a storyline agent for Sisters of EVE. If you have completed 16 level 1 missions for SoE then you should get a mail message.

To check:
Open up character sheet - standings section - liked by tab - right click on the 'Sisters of Eve' corporation and select 'Show transactions'. It will list all missions completed, including storylines for that corporation.

Right click on the 'The Servant Sisters of EVE' Faction and select 'show transactions' to get list of storyline missions completed.

Cross-reference name and dates to see how many regular missions completed for next storyline.

Should be able to determine if you completed storyline mission for Allicuere Ancbye.

If you have just completed 16 regular missions, it'll probably take about 15 minutes for the storyline offer to be sent. If you already have 16 or more regular missions completed, might want to file a petition in-game if no storyline offer is sent after 1 hour.

Other than that, I don't know.
