Wormhole Academy looking for C2 pilots - newbs welcome - US TZ

Broken Wheel Mercantile and Trading was founded as the dedicated Academy for our wormhole alliance.

Over the last year, we trained dozens of pilots with no prior WH experience to live in this best part of New Eden. Our graduates now fly in our alliance corporations making great ISK and having a good time. Our alliance has C2,3 and C4 holes and we are getting ready for a C5.

We offer

  • C2 - Low Sec Static - Never far from fights or empire
  • Mature players, relaxed atmosphere. Real life comes first
  • Newb-friendly - regular workshops on scanning, scouting, PvE and PvP
  • PI, ore, gas, loot & salvage buyout program - no need to haul yourself
  • Mining missions with Rorqual and Orca support
  • Corporate discounts on hulls and ammunition
  • Strong WH alliance - regular trips to our C4 sister corporations for ISK and fights
  • Nullsec & lowsec roams - Alcohol strongly recommended.



Minimum requirements for our C2:

  • Full API and TS interview. No exceptions
  • T1 scanning frigate - All "astrometrics" skills to III.
  • BC of any kind with a decent tank
  • TeamSpeak for fleet operations.


Our alliance is led by friends who are passionate about the game (several active bloggers) and we we have grown our corporations continuously and without (significant) drama.

We are now looking for mature and relaxed players in who want to experience the best part of New Eden, enjoy time with friends and challenge themselves a little as well. While we have pilots across nearly all time zones, we are recruiting specifically now for our US Timezone teams.

We are friendly enough to people with nullsec histories. There are certain nullsec alliances who have a certain reputation for thievery which we tried to ignore in the past. Sadly this didn't work out well for us and we have to restrict recruiting people with certain connections. I wish this wasn't the case and you shouldn't take this policy personally. If CCP ever fix POS permissions to a high enough level I will be delighted to drop this paranoid policy.

I'm very interested in joining, I'm a returning player, and I'm starting from scratch again, I got into PVP
on my last year with eve, but the corp that I was with was very small, un-organised with a lot of drama
I'm training this character towards drakes at the moment because after my last account which was
Minn/Amarr I realized armor tanking wasn't my thing.

My current plans are to train my skills up and become sufficient with shield tanking, missiles and Battle cruisers
and battle cruisers will be my priority for now, before moving towards a support role, ECM or Curse type pvp (I like tactical pvp)
and finally SC skills.

I'm currently on holiday, but I'll be back in about a month, which should be sufficient enough time to have enough core and
support SP to be able to efficiently fly HAM Drakes.

I have some PVP background and I'm very easy going open minded and a nice person, I learn fast and I have good communication skills, I have TS and several personal ways of contact should they be needed.

I made this post to see if you're still looking for pilots who are willing to join, though it'll be a month before I can play I intend to be active and I have time to read up on material if required.

I'm interested in joining your corp. I have 62.8 mil SP. And I have spent almost 2 years previously in a C4. My corp decided about 6 months ago to pack up and sell our system due to diminished recruitment. And I have been in high sec ever since. But I am wanting to get back to the WH life.
