Collectors Edition on Amazon

Any idea what those three little cards are?

Just added this to my amazon cart, super excited! Eve has been the one game I have played consistently for over six years. I have a soft spot for the game, the developers and the community.

At this point, I'd say order the kit from Musterbrands (Eve Store) if you can unless CCP gets back to us soon saying the preorder codes apply to Amazon customers as well.

Kinda odd that it'd take more than a couple of days to verify this, a simple yes/no question.

The collector's edition kits are limited run, so I am not sure if waiting too long is a good idea.

Already cancelled my order with Amazon and re-placed it with the Eve Store. Last I checked, my preorder codes were already in my inbox.

So if you cancel your pre-order do you get to keep the incentive loot?

I know someone must have tried this already. This is EVE, after all.

I am curious if we get the destroyer if pre-ordering through Amazon.

I don't see it on the list on the site anymore.

Not sure if it's worth canceling my pre-order to switch to the EVE store.

I just did this as It has been 4 days now with no codes sent to me. I have the feeling that the amazon pre-orders are not going to be sent out or if they are you won't receive them until you get the actual box.

Did the same, usually I'm all for going with Amazon because of prime shipping, but I'm not taking any chances that I'll have to actually wait half a year to get something I should have access to instantly (or near).

If this is the case, I will be cancelling my order with Amazon. I am not sure yet if I want to order through the Eve Store with the shipping costs....

Will you receive anything different if you go through Amazon vs. the EVE Store? I really don't *need* the pre-order stuff I just don't want to lose out on something that I could have gotten for the same exact price. If I can get my gold pod now or November really doesn't matter to me as long as I can get it. Of course, the Amazon thing works great for me because I have points to spend...but that's not a big deal.

This... I play to have fun, not worry about some e-collection that would gather space dust in my hangar in the hopes that it would bring me insanely large amounts of isk in the future when someone with more isk than sense wants to replace the one they exploded and the number is limited.

The codes (one for EVE and one for DUST) will be sent to your email address. The EVE code is redeemable immediately, while the DUST code will be sent out (and made redeemable) very shortly after May 6, when Uprising is deployed.
