If PvP payed, then the new grind would be to farm your own alts for ISK.

PVP can very much be profitable, thing is that you have to be GOOD at it which requires effort and an IQ over 70, hence most people fail at it. It's also because when you say "PVP" the only thing many people can think of is 50/100/x man fleets, because obviously that's the only type of PVP that exists.

To the OP: many people brag, lie or just exaggerate and while you can make a whole lot more than what a typical mission runner earns it's almost never as easy. Realise, per my statement above, that most people are fcking clueless so don't buy into their big mouth, made up numbers or silliness like that. Missions you can do whenever you want, you don't have to wait for someone or a group at all. Not saying it's the best way of doing PVE but if you want to make some isk it's certainly a safe and dependable option.

There's many ways of making isk in EVE and for me personally I don't care so much about what makes the most but rather which is the most fun to me. What's the use of making 50 mil an hour while being annoyed and bored to death if something that makes me 30 mil/h would be fun to me. Running missions is one way of doing it, not my way but it's fine to do.

I might add that I have to use 3 accounts to achieve my niche.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com
