I sense this is a trick question.

I sense this is a trick question.

It is, the Matrix was intended as an anime plot that instead become a live action. See the Animatrix for the kind of thing the Wachowski brothers had in mind.

Yup, I'v watched various links of anime that have been posted over the years but I have never once seen something that made me want to get into watching anime regularly.

Just finished this, I cannot reccomend it enough.

Trying to figure out where it sits in my top 3 favourites at the moment, it might end up beating Evangelion... Please UTW, get 3.33 out so I can get my fix Cry

UTW are pretty excellent.

Resident Haruhiist since December 2008.

Laying claim to Out of Pod Experience since 2007, plain and simple. Keep the trash out of Out Of Pod Experience, If it's EVE Related or deserves a Lock, it does not belong here.

If you want to try something a bit dark try out ergo proxy. not normally my flavor but I was defenately entertained and made me think a bit. Also Pino is the cutest damn thing http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100711184943/ergoproxy/images/a/ab/Pino.jpg

For me in that sector would be Space Cobra and the most awesome masterpiece of tactical flying ships

Legend of Galactic Heroes

I just got hooked up on it due to Classical Music , slow moving behemoths of destruction and the Political Backstabbing between a classical Austro-German Empire versus a Modern Capitalistic EU like Democracy Conglomerate with a third neutral swiss like Mercantile empire.

Battleship Yamato comes second

Watching Evangelion 3.33.

I no longer know what's going to happen based off of the anime. Its intentionally dropped me in at the deep end and I can't look away.

HOLY ******* **** THAT WAS AWESOME.

And I thought that the original Rei Clone plot was dark....

Not quite sure what I just watched. I swear I have read Evangelion fanfics that made more sense than that...

C4 (UK TV Channel) went through a spat many years ago by having an actual anime season

1 of the shows they aired was legend of the 4 kings, they also aired full films like Akira

then they stopped doing it and I was sad What?

I enjoyed original one, the remake in HD and "truer" to the Manga was so so to my eyes.

Saw Sword Art online. Was alright I suppose, could have had a better plot outline and a bit more character development...

Attack on Titan. That thing is 60m tall and its in a near post apocalyptic medieval Europe. Last stand city, you know the setup. Seems like one of the main charecters is a novelty as they are the last known Oriental in the world (direct quote) so yea, humanities nearly extinct and apparently must taste nice.... The Titans other than that one are smaller and... bizzare, think 10m tall middle aged men that are autistic and like chewing on people to spit them back out again (they can't actually digest them). Its about the mid 9th century so yea.... its dark and I suspect that they are all going to die.

A humerus version of the opening. I laughed so hard I ran out of breath.

Pingu!
