Rebalancing rats

Yesterday I had the worst experience in my almost 2 years long EVE carrier. Co clarify, in the past, I was killed, I was ganked, I was camped in stations for hours on end, I was scammed, I was involved in perpetual griefer wordecks that lasted for months on end, and nothing, NOT A THING was as irritating as what was supposed to be simple 0.0 anomaly.

So topically I do sansha forsaken hubs, or forlorn hubs if forsaken are occupied. For a change I decided to do hidden hub. Let me assure you I will newer run hidden hub again, in fact I was on the verge of ragequiting eve for the first time ever. I don’t know what person that designed that anomaly was thinking but I want him to run it himself, preferably in in turret based ship. I want him to suffer as I had to suffer.

Now I don't have issue with difficultly of the anom, my tank was never in danger of failing, but how horribly irritating experience it was and how miserable was the payout for that irritation. Problem is bounty payouts for frig ships and electronic warfare ships is way to low for annoyance they represent and time it take to kill them.

To fix that rat bounties should be rebalanced roughly in flowing way:

- frig and destro sized rats get +900% current bounty payout increase
- BS rats get -10% bounty payout decrease
- any rat that uses electronic warfare (except target painting) gets double the normal payout

This would make balancing anoms and missions much simpler, and compensate player much better for their time. Best part is this would be most beneficial for new players that are usually stuck running lvl1 and lvl2 missions and lower end anoms that mostly have frig rats that pay **** for bounty.

erm this aint exactly brand new info mate, everyones known for years that running anything lower than forsaken hubs is a total & utter waste of time.
The real issue is the coming f.hub nerf, thats gonna be a serious bullet for null ratters to bite, instead of arguing with your fellow alliance ratters of who gets to run the 3 f.hubs/3 havens &1 sanctum in the system, your going to argue over who gets the 1 sanctum, good times ahead....
and lets not forget the TE/TC nerfs, thats going to have a massive impact for all turret based ratters.

Unfortunately that's true, and CCP doesn't seem to understand that what they are doing is a serious nerf to militarily upgraded systems ability to support players.

Already, even in the best systems, 3 or 4 people ratting will cause so much frustration that others won't join in, and thats WITH the current forsaken hubs adding value to a systems Sanctums and havens. Many of the people who do anomalies already hate them but at least find forsaken hubs palatable.

The most likely end result will be the same kind of PVE exodus back to empire as we saw with the very 1st anomaly/upgrade nerf.

I did a Hidden Hub (Blood Raiders for me) a couple days ago just for the hell of it. It was so tedious I didn't want to play EVE again for the rest of the night lol. Last night I did another but in addition to my Machariel I took an alt in a drake with fof missiles. It helped but the pay out for the effort is still super crappy (and having to use 2 ships means I got double corp taxed lol).

Its funny how I haven't looked in this particular section before but I made a thread about player content that could maybe address these and more issues. If you guys could have a read any further ideas and comments in the thread would be great :)

Lvl1 and 2 frig rats are extremely weak and pop easily enough even for noobs. You don't hear much whine there.

Many lvl4s are filled with elite frig rats. You're just too spoiled from all these years of anons and their large rats. Ever wondered why nullbears who cry and whine about highsec lvl4s to try to get them nerfed don't just do lvl4s themselves if these are so good? This is why.

Even if they pop fast their bounty I so miserable they are not worth the time. Noobs don’t complain about them because they are noobs and don't know anything better.

So since something is hard to do in a specific way or a specific fit it should pay more? Or better, certain parts of it should pay more than they usually do outside this specific frame?

I'm interested in how increasing small rats' bounty payout would make the mission "worth the time" when the bounty payout in total is usually about ~15-20 million isk with more than a dozen battleships in it? Why would you make frigates give out more isk than the total of battleships and cruisers/battlecruisers in it?

The spoiled nullbear's not talking about missions. And he gets far more than just 20 mil per site (on average, lvl4s get far less bounty than even half that, btw).
