BS prices after expansion INCREASE or DECREASE?

having been in the ideas forums, people are saying the prices will INCREASE......


please tell me that's wrong and CCP is LOWERING production costs to tier 1 BS levels

Production cost(mineral cost) will increase just as other ship classes that went through tiercide. Its inevitable.

That does not mean the prices will increase tho.

Well everything should be a lot more expensive, compared to how easy it is to make isk they should at least double in price.

Expect them to be normalised at tier 2 levels.

So buy tier 1s now.

That'll be because everyone with poor drone skills/ people using them for PvE are selling them to get an Apoc or Abaddon.

They are introducing more minerals into the game, and only really removing ice.... Price will drop back down to where they were before they nerfed drone regions.

Why do you think everyone is trying to sell off their Super Capitals right now......


The cost of ice will raise 40%-80%... however normal minerals will once again fall back down to a sane price! Yippy!


Anyone who says that costs will increase either has a hidden agenda, does not fully understand the patch notes, or is a new bro.

So grab 'em, hang on to 'em for six months, dump.

It's an investment, but if it pans out you could get a very solid return.

That said, we don't know what mineral costs will be for the new ships when normalized, and there's also some speculation on costs for low-end minerals due to the high-end ore buff. It's possible that if the ship costs are normalizing at mineral costs for Tier 2 BS, then the ISK price may stabilize slightly below current Tier 2 prices -- but then there will also be people who'll have instantly lost mineral value from a debuff of Tier 3 mineral expenses.

So. My guess is it'll normalize closer to Tier 3. That's just me. We won't know until mineral prices are updated on SiSi, or June 4th.

Meh.. this will have a semi decent impact... but I feel like there are not enough day traders to cascade such a large change across all of eve.....

There will also be people trying to squeeze value out of their mins.. hense why they are starting this whole "omg prices are rising" frenzy when really they should be falling. More minerals means more resources means cheaper prices... People will always seek to undercut another person, and prices will fall to where they should be... which I feel will be around where they were when drone reasons got nerfed (maybe.. just maybe.. thats why they are adding minerals in... you know to compensate for that? ~_^)
