It looks like a mash up of the vexor, brutix and myrmidon.

And the drone bay on the Dominix is on the bottom.. but a redesigned one would go nicely on that lower back deck area where the little homonculous of lights is now, behind the hubcaps.

I much prefer the current one. It iconic and just needs a bit of an update.

Needs a little work... like getting rid of the weird horn at the bow... but looks decent.

How come the Dominix shape is functional?

That thing requires a reshape badly just like the Apoc finally got it.

Is one of the most horrible ships in the game, specially the front of the ship.

Domi is the old ship of the old war. If it looks too modern and zingy it'd be odd.

I don't hate the Domi model as it is tbh and although the Oracle is an amazing hull that other one OP linked is just not in the same league.

During the Apoc redesign panel at FF I took the opportunity to ask if they had plans to redo the Dominix any time soon.

This was met with considerable support from the rest of the audience when they asked if it should be redone.


Turns out they already have a design concept in hand, could be done as early as winter expansion, but I wouldn't hold my breath just yet.

When your gut instincts tell you something is wrong, trust them. When your heart tells you something is right, ignore it, check with your brain first. Accept nothing, challenge everything.

All I want on a new domi is part of the ship that clearly shows where the drones are launched and/or retrieved from.

Part of why the domi is awesome is that it's an ugly as hell ship, but still manages to be totally badass.

CCP needs an original design not that... thing. I really don't get why a vocal few keep posting it. I almost wonder if they're all alts of the artist.

Probably not ideal for the Dominix remodel but I'd love to see it used for something.
