Jita is a cesspit. And maybe the OP doesn't want/have time to truck all those Ore/Minerals to Jita every single week and have to deal with the very real possibility of Freighter ganking on the way/way back.

By tomorrow, that 1.5 B of ore is going to be worth about .9 B, and worth even less when Odyssey hits, so long term contracts for this are not a good idea atm, imho, etc.

But I see what you are trying to do here.

yeh, we have been getting some info from folk about ore prices plummeting, is there any particular reason for this or is it just people getting panicked because of the update?

Is there a reccesion going on i wasn't informed about ? lol

there's alot of speculation going on right now because of the Odessy expansion. None of us really know the future of ore prices. All you can do is go on your gut instincts

yeah because a laughably low fee, for a completely risk free hauling service is foolish.

There's a reason the other guy cancelled the ore trade agreement. Mineral prices have become screwy. He cancelled it because he's no longer sure he can profit from the deal.

I suggest you stock pile your ore, and wait until prices to stabilize. Once that happens, the guy will probably be perfectly willing to set up a new agreement with you. Or you can find another steady buyer. But right now, I don't think you're likely to get reasonable prices for your ore.

We'll know where we are with this new ore paradigm around September.

I would agree with that. Likely Ore/Mineral prices will fall up until June 4th as everyone tries to sell whatever stockpile they have. Ice prices on the other hand are going up the closer we get to Odyssey. Both are likely to make a sharp fall just after June 4 as everyone either dumps it all on the market hoping to make a quick buck (thus flooding the market) or doing so because they see the prices dropping hoping not to lose too much. This should last a few weeks then slowly start to climb. My guess is that Ore/Minerals will stabilize near what they were a month ago and Ice will go up maybe 20-25% from a month ago but all this will likely take 3-5 months AFTER Odyssey when stockpiles run out.

You're best bet is to use the 'Bulk Trade' mailing list. Play the waiting game. You will get people convo you trying to offer you silly prices as if you were an idiot. But stand your ground and you will get good prices there. Smile

I generally ignore wholesalers* in Eve because the majority of them suffer under the delusion that, when they sell in bulk, they should be paid more than retail.

I actually agree 110% with that statement. :) I don't buy ships that have rigs installed already because some moron assumes you will fit it the exact same way he did... Which begs the question, "What the f**k are you selling it for, then??"

I don't see the problem with paying a minor premium, relative to the component part prices, for a fit that's rigged, fitted and accompanied by drones/ammo, as long as it's exactly as I want it. The seller is providing a service for me.
