Is he misinformed or has the policy on the pre-order bonus for amazon changed?




If this is the case, I will be cancelling my order with Amazon. I am not sure yet if I want to order through the Eve Store with the shipping costs....

if they are numbered will they actually be sent out in the order that ppl ordered them? i.e.: the first one who ordered on the eve store would get the very first CE with the number "1"

I suspect that limited, in this case, means they will stop selling them when people stop buying them. I don't hold the EVE marketing dept in high regard.

Just went to Amazon.ca - does not show up at all

I can see it at the US Amazon store - is this going to be available on Amazon.ca ?

Please let us know CCP - I am not sure I want to order from the EvE store - as I have no idea what the duty and stuff would be.

There are thousands of subscribers in Cnd, UK etc.... can you not make it available to us as well via Amazon?

I have had mine on order for a couple days via Amazon and I have not gotten anything. I have a petition with CCP, but who knows when that'll be addressed...

Screw it I'll have the amazon order canceled and re order off the eve store. I think shipping is more expensive for me but I'd rather not deal with this stuff. Now I just need the friend thats helping me with this cancel the amazon order.

For those shopping via amazon, maybe it's safe to assume the worst? ie assume that buying it thru amazon means no codes.

That way, if it changes in the future than you'll be all happy and stuffs, but if it doesn't than at least you have drunk from the bitter cup of disappointment now rather than holding it off and having it rammed down your throat later :(

I'm keeping my amazon preorder, It's literally cheaper for me to buy the code or the plex for the ship than to pay the shipping and customs.

I personally think Amazon order = no (early) preorder codes.

Why?

Amazon does not bill orders until they are ready to ship.
If preorder codes were sent early, the system could be open to abuse by folk redeeming the codes, reselling the result on the market, or worse, RMTing it, then cancelling the amazon order.

If pre-order codes were to come with the Amazon packs, they'd be shipped printed on cards with the package.

That said, those preorder codes will become extremely valuable ISK wise as the store does not ship to MANY countries, and also because of the base RL buy-in cost of the Collector's Edition
