Ah yes, the ol' "gankers ruin ganking" argument.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

I don't think that is simply what happened. "Suicide Ganking" was the one of the first un-intended Emergent Gameplay that appeared, up there with can flipping, and CCP realized that these were subjects that needed looking at.

For that matter your Alliance is blatantly stating that "Miners ruined Mining" and that you guys are the only way to fix it. CCP has finally decided that Mining has issues and it's now getting looked at.

If CCP stated tomorrow "ALL mining Bots in EVE have been removed and we have made it impossible for people to use scripts to mine" you guys would NOT close up shop and stop what you are doing, you would state that it's impossible to not AFK mine because no one can look at at beams hitting an Asteroid for hours.

I don't mine, but I could easily dual screen at work and mine 8 hours a day straight while doing other work. I would not be AFK, and I would not be botting, but I would still annoy people like you, and you would still hunt me, because the hunting is what you want, not changes to the game.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

No, I would state that many companies have claimed to have removed all bots in their games, and it's never actually been true before, and that I wouldn't take any statement like that seriously as a result.

No, I want changes to the game AND hunting. Luckily, I get both, because I chose a game with hunting, and regular updates.

When it's not "a victory", but "the victory", you will know it because there will be more targets in low/null than there are in high. At that point, yes, I would expect the NO to move to low/null.

So since you guys think you have won, does that mean you will post less? Because it is always annoying going into a thread to find some kind of scary religious like postings of in game happenings.

Edit: Also mining is just one inhabitant of the "AFK". What next? Finding AFK Cloaky's?

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

I bumped for the first time the other night. It was amusing for all of 30 minutes then I got bored with the lack of response from the afk miners. How do you do it?

I find you guys amusing not only do you extort from players in the game and throw a spin on it like your helping the game, but you try to dictate other peoples play style as well.

if they want to mine all day every day that's up to them, yes the code followers or test tube babies or unclaimed. may suicide them but if they really love mining they'll get a new ship and either try to continue in the previous system they were ganked in or move to another system. The reach of the code followers is only so far you cant cover every sector of space.

with the new changes to mining and how much ore difference there will be in the new anomalies that are coming and with the loss or gain of miners due to the new system which could potentially lower your chances at getting targets. On top of that there's also the possibility that prices on common minerals will increase unless the null miners start bringing their common minerals to empire.

You need to go afk and wait for them to return in order to collect the tears.

The glorious New Order of highsec has been winning the war against filthy afk miners and bots for months, and now CCP themselves are doing their part to further help our cause. Truly glorious.

It's fun to watch miners cry even though the price of ice is going to go up. Methinks they're complaining because they're botters and RMTers.

This thread reminds me of politicians, who claim victory whenever something good comes about, but what they dont realize is it didn't happen because of them, but in spite of them. Mining changes were done because CCP listened to Nullbears, not because they give a damn about about N.O.
