You would have gotten away with it if you hadn't started a thread asking. Now? No, it is account sharing.

As Varius said, don't give your account credentials to a third party. Not only is it account sharing, but you don't know what that other computer has been running.

As long as you, yourself, are the only person that knows your actual account name and password, you shouldn't have any problems -- but good on you for asking before you actually did anything. :)

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

Your best option is if your brother lives close, then log on yourself on his pc.Update que,log out.All he sees is your account name but not password.

Why don't you just "go to your brothers house" and update your skill training there?

no external video port on your laptop that you can plug a monitor into? I mean if it's just the screen that's died the external port should still work.

no local friends, classmates, coworkers with computers?

You could even try finding a local computer shop that builds computers and give them a story about wanting to buy a new gaming pc to play EVE on and see if they have a demo model you could try it on.

come on man....THINK!!!! This is your skill queue we are talking about.

Are you seriously telling me that the closest computer you can possibly have access to, is a thousand miles away? Where the crap do you live, man?

- Account sharing is against the EULA

But saying that:

- It happens
- Only seen people temp banned when they get petitioned/abuse it (24/7 doing something for example)

Use the gaming club to set a long skill.
I've used them sometimes.

Just change your passwords after that :)

in 2007 i've thought it's a sci-fi simulator, not an "e-sports" game. I'm not a teenager, how would i like it much?

Let your brother install eve-online. Then make him install 'teamviewer" or something like that.
Connect to his pc via teamviewer and log in on your own.

Fixed. ;)

Just leave the basement and go upstairs to your brothers bedroom and log in when he is at school.

If you have questions or concerns, or need help with your account I would highly recommend that you file a petition and we will be happy to do whatever we can from Customer Support. This is the best way to get an accurate answer on many topics rather than relying on the forums (note that CCL and the Community team work closely with Customer Support but are not the same).

I would draw your attention to this very important part of the EULA: http://community.eveonline.com/support/policies/eve-eula/

"You may not share your Account with anyone, or allow anyone other than you personally (or your minor child, if you have registered an Account on behalf of your minor child) to access or use your Account. Joint or shared ownership or use of an Account by more than one user is prohibited."

So yeah, don't give your details to anyone else, it's not an awesome thing to do, breaks the rules, and endangers your account.
