As an Amarrian in real life, I can approve of this design.

Can't wait untill when Eve online is Freemium. WiS only 10$, SP booster for one month 15$, DPS Boost 2$, EHP Boost 2$ Real money trading hub! Cosmeitic ship skins 15$ --> If you don't pay **for a product, you ARE the **product.

Did anyone managed to take a picture/screenshot/whatever of the new Apoc? Can you post it?

Will see if it is in the chaos client files when I return home from my work trip, if its there I'll make a video for you.

Meanwhile, have some innerzone shipping ships instead :)

Too smooth/streamlined. Looks like a destroyer not a massive battleship.

The concept art looks a little better than it did when Soundwave showed it off in game though.

Hmm, I don't really like it.

I much prefer the current smooth and sleek one to this new model.

To be honest, I thought one of the defining Amarrian themes was being smooth a sleek, especially when Caldari are industrial and blocky, Gallente are all about gentle bulges and curving lines to have an organic feel, and Minmatar represent the fans of Scrapheap Challenge.

Then again, when CCP announced they were doing a new model of it, I scratched my head and went "what's wrong with the old one?".

It's an improvement but nothing to write home about. The Stabber hull is still King of the remodeled ships.

The old ship looked like **** in comparison.

Just like the Megathron and Stabber / Vagabond. CCP's dude behind those three redesigns (and I'm sure at least one guy was involved in all three, as they share a common theme) sure knows what he is doing.

They look like they have mass and substance now. The armor looks like armor, the engines look absolutely gorgeous, and all the ugly, superfluous **** got toned down to the point it actually looks good, keeping the distinctive shape while losing the crappy bits simultaneously. Truly impressive.

There were some ships I never wanted an artist to touch, ever, because they would inevitably come out the other end looking like crap. Iconic ships like the Omen, Firetail, Rifter, Abaddon, Maelstrom, Thorax, etc.

I want this artist identified. I want him to then be chained up and locked in a room with those ships. Because if anyone is deserving of having his way with the iconic ships, it is this guy.

It looks powerful, fast, stocky yet sleek... it looks durable and much more believable with the awkward bits fixed on the bottom and more muscle added up top.

It's an iconic ship, very difficult to work with and still avoid destroying it's image in peoples minds.

You did well.

Im loving the recent ship designs, they feel more sleek and menacing. I bought a Vargur with no intension of flying it because I love the look of the ship.

FIRE THE ARTIST!!!

First our Golden fleet is now tan & turd, not Golden.

Now, this short stack??? WTH? Empress and I are not pleased. FIRE THE AMARR ARTIST NOW.

I once read that V3 has resulted in a lot of ships looking darker than they originally were, but CCP had to wait until all ships were V3 before they started playing with the "brightness" settings and such.

No I haven't, so my statement still stands. Why don't you wow us with this promised glory eh? Thy boasting would imply that there is some form or fashion of it ready to be viewed. Let us judge it with our own eyes.
