Well, heres the deal. I currently have a G35, and i really like the sound it gives... but the one thing i can not stand is i cant hear myself talk, i hate hearing my muffled voice when i talk, so i usually keep one ear on and one ear off and it gets uncomfortable then.

Can anyone suggest a decent headset that doesn't cancel outside noise, where you can hear yourself talk?

Find a good pair of headphones (*not the ones designed for fashion*) and get this for a mic http://www.modmic.com/


The result will be 1000x better then any headset on the market.

I strongly recommend the GameCom 780. Cheap, reliable and very practical for gaming purposes. It also comes with Dolby Digital Surround Sound which I found absolutely amazing for listening to music and watching films.

Something from Plantronics might work for you ..

Though personally I do like my Medusa 5.1s, they might be out of your price range though.
