I haven't heard of CCP inserting reserved posts retroactively, but if they can that would be fantastic. I'm asking!

One thing that is going to have to be adjusted is the copy time on some of the new T2 items. Some of the new items take 30-45 days just to make a single max-run BPC (in a POS lab) to be used in invention unless the existing BPO copy times are adjusted.

Ooh, new items are out on Singularity? I must see this!

Not sure yet, but was looking at copy times (per item) on the existing server. Currently patching my test client so I can look (rumor is that the new T2 recipes are on the test server).

Update: The new T2 items now have BPOs and invention tabs on the T1 items, but the copy times (per item) for a lot of them are still measured in multiple hours. Most other T2 modules have copy times on the base T1 BPO measured in a handful of minutes (up to about an hour).

tl;dr

Waiting anxiously to see the effect of the new BCs on faction warfare... Twisted More gank less tank *should* mean quicker fights and less running.

Certainly the introduction of a middling-difficult ship class to fly will drive down the average duration of many engagements; they will also be big-time nanoboats with excellent range and I'm pretty sure we will be seeing a lot more mid-to-long range setups to counter them.

You'd best be trolling. Suicide ganking doesn't have a very large effect on miner subscription rate, nor could suicide ganking become that prevalent, nor will the new ships necessarily be any better for suiciding. If anything they will be about as effective but cost significantly more.

bullcrap........... for one thing and even by goon's own admission the new tier 3 bc will be way better to suicide gank in.
why?
1. less cost than a bs yet same dps (tank doesnt matter a **** for suicide gankers)
2. it will fit inside an orca so easy to warp a nuetral orca on top of a miner along with the suicide ganker in a pod and pull the tier3 bc out and gank the miner
3. a bc locks alot faster than a bs does
4. a bc moves alot faster than a bs does

look at how many miners are mining in gallente and caldari space right now...............a lot lot less than it was before goons started the ganking

To appease you with what you have been saying:

The new 3TBCs are definitely very ganky, as you predicted, particularly the Tornado and Talos; I am getting a feeling that CCP is winding up to nerf insurance payouts for GCC losses in high-security space.

Ahem

Updates from SISI build is now live,

You forgot to mention scalable UI and the new Font. Though I think scalable UI wasnt mentioned in the blog originally its being tested out on Sisi atm.

Racial Quaters are in this patch at least.

No nebula no noticable changes in the build yet aside from the UI being all... alien?

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Also an update from Navigator about the Crow model. He originally posted that it was not a CCP model but corrected himself today.

CCP Navigator wrote:

CCP Atropos got in contact with me over the weekend to correct my mistake here. Apparently this was not a player created ship and was a prototype model created by our own art department.

I really do apologize for giving you guys misleading information. Someone, and I will not say who, had told me the wrong information to begin with so I am correcting this for you as it is the right thing to do.

And a link to an image of the model that I exacted from the build and rendered using the proper textures and materials from the .red file.

nicely done. thx.

but if you ask me, and yes i know its nowhere near the final design, its almost a bit too cartoonish.

I am a Gallente pilot who flies Caldari ships (but does wish to get further into Gallente ships skills eventually), and I can't wait to see the new Caldari T3 BC, along with the other three races. I fricking love missiles, cause they have no real downside (I don't see anyways).

Also, speaking of missiles/rockets/torpedoes, when is CCP going to make a module that will be more effective against said weaponry? Because, I got to tell ya, Defender Missiles suck. There should be a module that you plug in to the high slot that emits a scrambler to mess up a missiles' locking/guidance( think ECM Burst for missile targeting).

Also, you guys could have it that it would be more effective the higher class ship you have, like the ECM Burst (most effective placed on Battleships, pathetic on an frigate).

That's just mine, and a number of others that I talked to, opinions.

Afterburners, smartbombs, defender missiles. And bombs, actually. If you continuously bomb the space between you and an active missile-spamming force you can neutralize all their missiles.

The more you know (tm).
