After this whole debacle with "banning Kugu" (or, rather, keeping the site censored on these forums), the following gem can be found on CCP's Facebook page:

Turns out Mittani isn't the only CSM member with a silver keyboard and a regular gig writing about internet spaceships.

Its easy to make any site mention id theft.

Tools on the other hand are much harder to have hosted at sites like kugus had.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Scumbag CCP: Censors and claims kugutsumen is full of EULA violations and malware that does :badthings: Uses content from the site anyways.

EDIT: CCP, fix your failforums to censor properly. ty

That is an excellent article. The politics and intrigue are big wow factors. I cannot begin to imagine the intricacies and behind-the-back whispers and plots among the Alliances involved.

Apart from which, it's like Nova Fox says, it's easy to make any site mention ID theft.

It's not slander when it's true.

It's not so awesome when you consider that every alliance's leadership metagames so much that alliance pubbies don't understand WTF they are fighting for. When information was more centralized you could get an entire alliance behind a cause and expect good turnouts and hearty propaganda. These days your lucky if half your fleet even knows why or what they're fighting for IF they even show up to do so.
