They should just make the US version more expensive.

Then, US people would whine, obviously, because they have to pay more,
while the EU people will tell them that they actually pay the same now.
That makes no sense, right ?

This currency conversion logic is hilarious ... and makes no sense to me.
You pay the same ******* amount, depending on where you live at.

I have no idea why you people believe you have to pay more than them,
just because currency conversion tells you that. For people in the US,
it's still 150 bucks. For people in EU it's 150 bucks.

The amount and value is the same, for the person who pays the money,
disregarding where he lives.

Somebody please enlighten me about what detail i'm missing in this logic.

Please consider the fact that i have never left my country,
so i might actually really be missing something here. :)

If 150 dollar = 150 euro, then I want to pay 150DKK.

Because we are such a poor country and stuffs i payed only 138€ in Switzerland (including shipping costs, without it would be 126€). Fair economy is fair.

Sarcasm aside, it's probably the VAT yes. Because we are not in the EU we get that usually back here.

There's no VAT included on orders to Switzerland. You are supposed to pay VAT when it goes through customs in Switzerland.

Still, 126 EUR is 164 USD and it is no excuse for charging everyone in the EU the same, even when VAT is different.

PLEASE NOTE: DELIVERIES OUTSIDE THE EU WILL BE SHIPPED WITHOUT VAT (NET). ANY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT DUTIES ARE CHARGED ONCE THE PARCEL REACHES THE DESTINATION COUNTRY. THESE CHARGES MUST BE PAID BY THE RECIPIENT OF THE PARCEL.UNFORTUNATELY, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THESE CHARGES, AND CANNOT ADVISE YOU WHAT THE COST WILL BE, AS CUSTOMS POLICIES AND IMPORT DUTIES VARY WIDELY FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.

It's always a bit of a gamble if you actually pay that or nor. Not sure on what it depends. I will see.

Btw, are the virtual goods already redeemable? Has anybody already tried to use the code they got?

Depends on wether or not customs catches the package. You are supposed to report it yourself tho, just like taxes ;)

Doesn't change the fact that 150 euro for me is almost 200 usd.

If in EU i pay 19% vat , not ******* 25% more.....

I remember a time when i paid everything in Eve with USD, and the VAT was also in effect there, they just found an excuse and a way to **** over european customers like they always wanted to do.

Because funny enough Blizzard doesn't look for a way around it, a subscription is 12.99€ or 11.99 and the brits pay 10£ and 14.99$ for the americans etc.

But here in Eve , even tho blizzard pays VAT as well, they dont treat people differently

I don't care if its because European people have more money, i want f..... equality just like women got the right to vote in the early 1900's

When I fill up at the gas station, I don't pull out a protest sign because they pay more in Europe. I just accept that that is the way things are.

By the same token, I will look at the CE from the perspective of what I have to pay and decide whether to buy it or not. I will not base my decision on how what I am charged compares to what some other country has to pay.

That's just dumb.
