make the titans active again

Something must be about the titans, they are by far the most expensive ship in eve, you must have a high skill char inside it all the time,and what the results you take back? only bridging and ship hauling,thats it, to have an 100+ bill ship for only that reason?
and not only that, this ship can do anything if something goes wrong to protect it self against a ship 2500 times cheaper,
it sounds redicilous.
also the phrase "turrets fitted to this ship will do reduced damage to small targets" sounds hilarious if you think that titans and dreads use the same guns.

ok now all of you think thats im saying "giving back the old tracking titans" , yea that be could be great but i believe that returning back times it will not solve anything,just cause more problems.

Also they are immune to all forms of electronic warfare, but still they cant do anything inside of a bubble.

and finally titans are the absolute weapon againts capilals so must remain that.

Im proposing the follow :

1. titans and motherhip to be immune also to bubles of dictors and hictors, to catch them we must use a capital warp disruptor/capital warp disruption filed generatos (with a decent range ex.50 km) which can be fitted only in capitals ships.

2. To be immune also to sub cap energy neutralizers,so im telling about the creation also of capital energy neutralizers which can be used only from capital ships

3. Reduse their guns sig radius from 2000 -----> 1000 , so they continue to do reduse damage to smaller targets but if
someone used them in good numbers can change a fight ( ex. fleet A and fleet B ,fleet A has field 300 bil value ships and fleet B 2 tril [more numbers or a lot of titans], fleet B must have a better chance to win this fight.

What will change if that things happen :

a. if someone wants to catch and kill a titan or a motherhip his entity must field some caps,
so scaps arent anymore defenseless as they are right now against a hictor or a dictor, but now they have a small
opportunity to escape,
b.if a titan has tackled their allies must field caps to rescue it,not just a 20-30 man subcap fleet to kill the dictor/hictos and so the titan can escape.
c normal capitals have now more uses (esp. carriers)
d. to be mandatory their use for sov grinding or sov defense, so more caps and scaps on field -----> MORE dead scaps
( i dont remeber how much time have to see a titan killmail )

SO give a reason to the owners of that ships to use them again (and loose them in action) than to forgot them in an account

I agree that titans are underpowered, but your proposed changes are pretty preposterous.

I am in favour of buffing titan damage against subcaps but other than that most of your arguments are flawed as they would essentially render titans immune to subcaps. Besides capital hics would simply get dd'd. Titans SHOULD have a subcap support fleet with them to defend them.

We need a lower barrier of entry into the sov game not a higher one. This proposal would in effect make it impossible for smaller alliances who lack titans to make ANY headway in nullsec.

1. Hell no. Subcaps being a real (and even required) threat to caps is in there for a good reason.
2. Hell no. For the same reason as above: subcaps are meant to be the supercaps' worst enemy — too small to hit, to numerous to kill, and thus forcing the ship to travel with escort.
3. No. 2000 is plenty to hit the kind of targets the Titan is supposed to fight.

a. “Must have caps to fight caps” is horrible game design — it was actively removed because the made the gameplay horrid and one-sided.
b. same as a.
c. Not really, no.
d. …in other words, the only ones that can take sov is those who have sov. Yay staticness.

Let the titans can only owned by corporation like a pos, and functions like mobile station that people can dock, make clone and manufacture stuff , and also can get into reinforcement.

Literal destroyable station. Check.
People won't flee asserts to NPC station. Check

You should only be allowed to step into a Titan, if you are able to write the story of your character in a nicely way (Roleplay-Style!).

I propose they implement a new capital ship that blap's sub-capital ships. An Anti subcap cap if it were.

Price isnt a balancing factor, so essentially what you're saying is take a terrible, broken ship, nerf it, then give it the ability to dock.

Nah. They still have special abilities that add to the game, so there's no redundancy, and thus no reason to remove them.

Sure, let them anchor as station, allow them to portal fleets as long as u feed em topes, in 'station mode' give em old school DD to counter hell camps. If u want to dock in null sec, ull have to anchor a ***** and be able to defend it. Null sec was all about increased risk and reward.

I agree. It could be called some sort of "fearship"... or maybe "dreadnought"? Of course the guns should have pretty poor tracking so you'd need to adjust your fit to compensate for the size/mobility of subcaps. Perhaps fit some kind of "following calculator"... or "tracking computer"?
