Hmm, the CE is also on Amazon, but seems like the Nefantar Thrasher is not part of the package if pre-ordered from Amazon?

BTW: 150 USD = 115.11 EUR +21% VAT= 139.28 €.

That would be great, although I imagine that it would be like any other special edition ship. Then againf the rules for pods are a bit different, and it would be interesting if it were handled differently.

This is a good question. I would rather just buy the artbook and maybe the CD separately (will buy the in game stuff for ISK, not interested in the board game) since I can't imagine those two items going for the price of the collector's edition. I want to wait to see if these items will be available separately, but don't want to miss out on getting them. The original Eve artbook is gorgeous and I was wondering if the new one is matching and the same dimensions since it looks square as well.

I bought it and used my code for the new pre order trasher, the website told me next time i logged in i would be able to claim it. Yet I am still unable to claim my ship.

I REALLY want this colelctors edition but can't afford it IRL, I hope they do allow us to buy it though plex, I dont mind paying a few extra pounds to get it.

Also, when does the 'preorder' offer end, day before, month before?

I'll be real (and I know this is could to sound sacreligious) but I'm just interested in getting the Dust items... I dunno, I'm a lore freak and getting my hands on the 'Templar' gear would really brighten my day ^_^;

Yeah, I would really rather have that EVE: Source book they were talking about at FF (still not sure if its different from the one in the CE package though) instead of a gimmick game, even if it is in a fancy case...

I agree compleatly.. Given that the video card that CCP sold for plex cost 20 plex i would say that the Collector's Edition should cost no more then 10 plex each. That would be fair given the going rate for plex being about $20US so that would make it about $200US that we would be paying with plex. Placing it right on the track for how much it would cost if we bought it out right.

Of course they do, that's how it is. They are however supposed to charge the VAT rate that applies to the country that the buyer is in ( if registered outside the EU ).

Instead, they charge everyone 150 EUR ( 30% more ) and depending on which country you are from, they just calculate your national VAT backwards. So I get the CE for 150EUR with 25% VAT, and someone from Portugal gets it for 150 EUR even tho their VAT is 19%. Where you do think the difference between 19, 23, 25% VAT and the 30% higher price goes?

It's no coincidence that all of the EVE Store stuff is only available on US Amazon and not available to be shipped to the EU – CCP simply doesn't want another outlet that deals in EUR, for the stuff they are selling.

I want to know what the deal is with the golden pod, Is it just for one character or for any characters on the account (So if you buy a char a put it on your account it would get the pod)

Because if its just for one char then thats pretty annoying, If its for any character on the account, Like you can delete a char and then by one and it will jsut give you the golden pod on the new char you bought and take it off the one you delete to make room.

Hopefully this stuff will be available on its own and via plex.
