Depends on the state, the sales method and the honesty of the buyer.

Sometimes. Not always - Depends on the state.

Just because YOU believe applying currency conversion makes sense,
doesn't mean they believe that too.

You live where you live and you pay the same amount. If you suddenly
moved to the US and lived and worked there, you would still pay the same amount.

Wow, i can build at least two logicical buildings with this ... it's silly. xD

I've never really understood the anger that people show when a company comes up with a product that's essentially just vanity items, and then people scream "you're greedy!" or "sellout!"

If you don't want them, then don't buy them. There's no detriment to you, the CE isn't going to let the buyers win EVE.

The whole thing with the lack of currency conversion is weak though.

Oh shush. I think it's a brilliant scheme that they should adopt immediately.
Paying 13.45 a month, like everyone else, instead if 120 would be great! P

Get out of your mom's basement and get a job for a few hours.... there you have the 35€ needed.

Even though i believe companies shouldn't do just $ to €, if you gotta worry about 35€ you should get a job/better job/only play with plex'

Nice stereotyping there, Im at college I cant afford **** wether I have a job or not.

Well grow up, finish your studies and get a job.

As far as I've seen there hasn't been any promise from CCP that kids will get their candy in advance.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

They should.

I mean, somehow they managed to exempt our pilots in the UK from EU VAT when they introduced the GBP pricing scheme, so why not this Blink

Nope. Euro has nothing to do with it. It's EU VAT, not Euro VAT.

( well actually it's supposed to be VAT in the counry the buyer is in, but CCP is making a nice chunk of change by charging every EU citizen the highest VAT ).

I happen to have a surplus of PLEX, can I pay with PLEX?

I mean, if EVE IS REAL then how come it's so far away from real life. :(

I too would love to pay in PLEX. There are often differences in prices between countries. I have a large selection of R2 DVDs that I have collected over the years since "complete collections" of many series like Monk, and West Wing have often been about 1/2 the price through amazon.co.uk compared to the US release. Same goes for books. The Histories of Middle Earth cost 3 x 75 Pounds retail, which is much cheaper than the 12 hardcovers in the US. Just have someone in the States/EU order it for you.

ITT people who havent read that the EU price includes sales tax (VAT), and the US one does not.

25% of 150 = 37.5, which is, handily enough, the difference between the two.
