How to hassle Goonswarm

In order to protect themselves of intrusions, goons feeds the legendary of "there are no goons miners".

Here is a good way to hassle them.

Miners who reads this, if you really want your ice belt back, please prepare one alt to do this job.
Don't hesitate, you've got nothing to loose except a bit of time.

Go to their mining during system in nullsec and sit in. Y'ou'll put 10 hulks on strike.
They can't mine when there is a neutral in the system.

Use "Sovereingty" filter in the star map option to locate their systems.

Mining systems are usually at the end of branches, such as 5S-KXA or 7T6P-C

Alliance "Test alliance please Ignore" and "Test friends please ignore" should also be settled.

Way to their sytem is 10-20 jumps in nullsec, do it in the morning or about the downtime when there's no roaming.

It may take up to 1 hour to go along the way safely.
Take time to do 1 good safe in all systems, it may be helpful if you come back.

Don't worry about mobile warp disruptors around the gates inside of the mining systems, cloak as soon as you start moving after your jump and there is almost no danger.

Once in your target system, connect randomly and do hunt parties.

Best ship to use: Stealth Bomber

- Fit: Nullsec Manticore Barge Killer -

High slots:

Cloaking device :-)
Bomb launcher (most important weapon) + at least 2 bombs
Torpedoes launchers
Combat probe launcher + 10-20 combat probes

Medium slots:

MicrowarpDrive
Target Painter

Low slots:

Inertia stabilizer
Co-processor

- End of Fit -

One bomb is not enough to take out a tanked hulk and bomb reload is quite long, so I recommand to use 2 ships (1 sb + 1 scramble frig or best: 2 sb).

I've got a pair of corpmates who are skilling such a fit right now and should be operational soon, but we're not enough pilots at the moment to block a signifiant number of mining systems.

1 guy in each system and they'll lose bunches of money.

If you don't want to spend skillpoints and isk on Stealth Bomber, you can also do a 6-days skillplan to fit a destroyer as follow:

- Fit: Nullsec Barge killer Cormorant -

High slots:

Limited Light Ion Blaster I (x 6) + Faction Antimatter Charge S
Prototype Cloaking device I
Core probe launcher I (used to locate the hidden belts they're mining)

Medium slots:

Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
J5 Prototype Warp Disruptor I
Small F-RX Prototype I Capacitor Boost + Cap Booster 50 (guns need a lot of capacitor)
Invulnerability field I

Low slot:

Inertia Stabilizer II

Rigs (mandatory):

Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I x 2

- End of fit -

This fit costs less than 3M isk.

Do not fit anything that increase your signature radius as it makes it easyer to catch you at gates.

When they catch your alt, let them podkill him, it's the fastest way to get another inexpensive ship.

Whatever they will say below, remember that eve is based on raw materials.

Although we aren't ennemies of goonswarm federation and test alliance, it may give ideas to their real opponents.

See ? Always the same answer.

Go peddle your legendaries elsewhere pal.

Can you imagine to settle a nullsec region without mining when a hulk can make 100M / hour.

I've seen plenty of goon miners in goon space, with Hulks and Rorcal.

My post is well documented, believe it or not.

Those aren't miners... the Rorquals are fueling POS/etc, the hulks I'm doubtful you've ever actually seen. There are literally no "goon miners" unless a bunch of us in Theta have a little too much drinky-drinky and decide it would be a riot -- in which case we're not actually mining but more using it as an excuse to take a hulk into space and sit next to a rock while we enjoy libation.

Also, I love the play on Antigone. Very well crafted. As to the Rorqual - they are never just 'mining', if you find one expect to get shredded... our logistics people get really angry when they are interrupted. Well, they generally just get really angry period.

Kind of like how you're logistics people spent 45mins trying to scan down my cloaky velator?
Kind of like how I invaded goonspace and busted you're stupid cyno jammer and you're logistics was more then willing to offer up a free aeon killmail before everybody frogout?

Really wanna annoy goons?
Hang out in their systems with a cloaky ship and decloak just long enough for them to get close to you with probes then cloak up again. That really pisses them off. They start yelling at you in local chat and they call you homophobic slurs.

Also goons do in fact mine with hulks. How else do you think they build stuff?

Exactly.

I can also tell you that when you enter in their system, there are usually 15 to 25 ships in local, and if you settle for a while they all disconnect as one.

Instead of inviting new people to your space, so you can hold them close, hug them, say nice things in their ears, and when the time comes, you stick a missile up their ear, you try to make them feel unwelcome in the first place, spreading lies and hate mails all over Sad

Such a bad place is space. So uninviting, so cold and lonely Cry
