Hi,

Please note that recruitment is not allowed in this sub-forum so a couple of posts were removed from this thread.

Thanks.

Well said Vimsey.

As for the tired old "they only shoot those who don't shoot back" nonsense, I would link you the killmails of many armed tornadoes, scorpions, nagas, etc that we've taken down while they were trying to defend the miners, but that's not allowed in this forum. I'm sure you can find our killboard if you set your mind to it.

Regardless, there's nothing stopping them from shooting back.

One minute you go on about bumping mining ships and shooting them, the next you mention armed tornados .... With a straight face Roll I would prefer paintball to make believe pvp involving shooting mining barges. There is a reason null sec pvp corps laugh at high sec gankers.

The New Order guys do both, they go around bumping ganking miners hoping to collect tears and extort them for ISK to be left alone, other players choose to try and defend those miners by fighting, so the New Order shoots them to. They get wars out of it, they get some amazing tears and chat logs, they create a market for ships and modules, they create mayhem in an area of the game that many see as a safe zone, which it is not. Some of the miner bumpers biggest cash donations have come from some of the major nullsec corps as well as highsec PvP groups, there are many nullsec pilots in their chat channel, and many of them join in the fun, they're laughing with the New Order, not at them.

Of course they're not the only ones doing it, you have the belligerent undesirables creating their own particular brand of chaos. You have the likes of Solstice Project running around ganking autopiloting players (why would you fly a pod? and autopilot it? rookie ships are free), even the nullsec guys are wreaking havoc with multiple freighter ganks, thus having a small influence on the market.

At the OP, there's lots of places where a newbie is welcome for PvP, as others have mentioned there's Brave Newbies Inc. they seem to be having an absolute riot fighting all and sundry. RvB basically have a full time war going against each other, they also team up to fight 3rd parties and run a regular event called Ganknight, which basically involves an open to anyone themed roam through lowsec and nullsec with the intention of fighting everybody they see, until they die gloriously.

Some of the pirate corps run academy corps, Meatshield Bastards springs to mind, and if you've got the isk and skills, the Agony Unleashed PvP courses are meant to be an excellent introduction.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
