Hi,

Just came back to game and would like to take a look at running some highsec incursions.

I want to find some guides (and i have found some using google) but i would like to know if there are any crucial and most up-to-date sites that i should be reading.

I would also like to know what ship types i should be flying and what fits.

Thanks for your time.

The BTL Incursion site should be of interest to you too!

Yet another one (Probably the best, IMO.)

These are very pretty guides with interesting fits. Practically however if you are not flying a billion in shiny nobody will fleet you. Sad but true dynamic. there are a limited number of incursions and an unlimited number of people trying to run them. so unless something high risk (LE HiSec island) comes up you are SOL.

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

You could always fly a logistics, much cheaper and every bit as valuable to a fleet. People seem to have a stigma about not doing DPS, I've only had one session of running Incursions so far, and I was a basilisk pilot, I enjoy doing it.

Most of the fits are probably geared up for doing maximum DPS, more dps = npc die faster = more isk/hour
I've not looked that much at the combat side of the ships, I'm still training up one of my alts to leave down that way but am undecided what ship to aim him for at the moment.

oh no don't get me wrong I find fleet combat much more engaging than the solo grind. Just in Incursions there is little opportunity for that unless shinny OR logi. And even then once it is filled only shiny logi can get in.

Some of those BTL Hurricane and Myrmidon fits don't look too terribly pricey.
The modules are Tech II, but reasonable (rigs might get pricey though).

the costs are really not that high.
Maelstroms are always good if you want to fly DPS, and they dont take excessive isk to T2 fit. seriously, you will make back any investment you make in a few days anyway. it it pretty easy to get in fleets as long as you have T2 weapons and an appropriate ship. all of you complaining because you arent invited when you want to join up in a cane should look up and realize what you are doing wrong.

there is no situation in which Faction mods are required, except for webs. if you cant afford it, just dont fly a webbing ship.
