I'm getting rather to old to watch live streams and keep up with all your modern fancies.

what am I getting once I reach 10?? Lol

If the game was bad you wouldnt be playing it.So you play it because it is a good game and you pay for that service.CCP doesn't need to give you **** as they gave you the game you enjoy.


Let's turn this around , what did YOU give to CCP as a thank you for giving you the ability to play this game?Did you send them a card?


And besides that , who needs/wants a ''here's something useless for you now let us milk you for a few more years''-gift. It's a company if they give something as a thank you it just means they want to suck you dry some more.No company cares about customers , they care about profit wich means giving the customers the idea that they care about them.

Anything more or less then a pos revamp would not be the gift i would be looking for.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

I think you get a special station where only you can dock. I don't see how it's a reward though. Getting segregated from other players and spending time with people who think character age makes them entitled to special treatment doesn't sound like a good time to me. Maybe it's CCP's masterplan to contain the bittervet syndrome and once a critical mass of infected is gathered there, they will lock the docking bays and gas the station.

Exactly.

How can you say 10 years if you're taking a 1-2year breaks? There is nothing special about it.

Well, i'm doing so... But i'm at least keeping the active sub...

(haven't seen wtf are they whining about, but kinda understand - have read about some plans in the CSM huge PDF wall of text.)

in 2007 i've thought it's a sci-fi simulator, not an "e-sports" game. I'm not a teenager, how would i like it much?

They were subscribed since 2003, not necessarily day 1...

Whoever was doing the presentation (I forgot, I think it was CCP Unifex) explicitly said "since day one".

basically there putting a station in the game for players who have been in the game 10 yrs. on top of that their getting some forum icon too if I remember right to symbolize that.

Well if you've been playing for 10 years (assuming you did the monthly subscription payments) they would have given CCP $1800. I wish I got that much when I turned 10

i would like to know that when i do in the right circumstances i get just the slightest acknowledgment from the community and ccp that this IS an amazing game and my participation is a qualification to that fact.

however at 20 years i do want a pony that ***** rainbows, obviously

edit: also to the "you have a fancy station" people thats great but if you are a super pilot which is quite likely you will never see it.

this isn't a bitter vet thread, it's a greedy jealous **** thread, them toys you're throwing out of your pram are not getting you anything, it's so true, you can't please all the people all the time.

this is false.

i pay my sub with my own money when ever possible because eve isk is isk and what i earn ingame is to be spent ingame, not FOR the game

sure if i have no actual currency and have the isk, i will and have paid for a month that way, but my preference is cash money.

i know many that have the same feeling.

For the last 10 years I have had to take a break in my subscription albeit it was only 2 months but I know some vets who spent a year or more away from the game.

just a real provable *something* that a char has been around for ten years.

its a decade, if you dont understand you probably have never done anything other than live, for ten years.

So, you get station access, and a forum poster marker.....you say you dont want anything, but then you say the station and the forum poster marker is not enough?

Yes, your main might be a super pilot....but unless you have 3 super pilots on the account which never go anywhere, then one of your characters will get to go to the station.
