Dear CCP
i wonder do any of you developers ever played this wonderdull game which you so clearly advertise as a open ended adventure with many oportunities

Obvious not

Last night in my opinion you basicly told 70 %of your player base to F .O.

did any of you at CCP thought on the long term chain effects of your rebalacing rescourses plan ?
nah i m sure you didn't
it is a sad day for all those small and medium size industrial coperations usually made up by several friends that like their independence and love nothing more than to create and immerse into the game

i do not think many of them will still be playing same time next year

i can only endorse the fact that you want to fight t and eradicatehe problem of bots , but be honest moving the problem out of sight will only make it worse

Now, it's clear you're angry. Please explain why, what its cause is, and how you'd recommend fixing it.

Is it because now you need to scan for ice? Or because of the buff to nullsec ore?

I would most likley agree with what you are saying, but yet I have no clue exactly what you are talking about.

Are we talking about ore changes, ice changes, or something else not covered?

didnt you hear? Next expansion after odyssey is called the Great Depression. High sec runs out of ore, and all the mission rats fly away to hide in low and null sec. No more asteroids ice or missions in high sec. The expansion after that is the slow deterioration of the empire factions, they lose their space to pirates. Its good times.

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

Do you even know what the butterfly effect is? It's exacly because of it that CCP is doing the rebalance. This change is long overdue

BTW judging by the amount of themeparkers tears, the rebalance is already a huge success.

Risk = Reward. Those Null Ores were broken, and had been broken for a long time. To suggest that the game would be better off not working as intended, and that CCP fixing issues means that they don't care and/or are ignorant is a sure sign that you should take another look at your priorities OP.

As someone with experience trying to do industry and manufacturing in Null Sec in the past I'm floored by the notion that anyone should feel sorry for High Sec industrial corporations now. The Ore and Outpost changes that Odyssey are bringing were desperately needed in Null; or are the only industry corps that matter all in High Sec? That's the impression that you are giving right now.

I hope you'll re-think your current position.

There's two possibilities here:

  1. CCP doesn't know how people play the game, they have no idea of how they get their income and they are complete morons who just managed to have EvE running for 10 years on pure luck.
  2. You're wrong.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Your post lacks any proof or reason as of *why* there seems to be an issue.

If you would be so kind to explain as of *why* you see the butterfly effect somehow changing/crippled/whatever applies ?

Some people are simply just afraid of changes and new things it seems. It's especially funny in this case where the changes make completely sense and should have been made long time ago.
