Refining from a pos still sucks the big one.

Agreed.
I am a little surprised that the wh guys on the CSM did not scream blue murder and get the POS refinery fixed.
I HATE the null sec asshats that are bent on destroying high sec, and whined for these changes in order to hurt high sec.

But that being said, the POS based refinery is an insult to anyone who is forced to use one.
Then again, if you listen to the dev's today, they have made it pretty clear they are surprised, and a little annoyed, that players actually chose to colonize wh's. Maybe this is their way of giving the wh folks a poke with a pointed stick.

Does this mean that when when Wormhole-jump to deep null, I won't go weeks without seeing another ship?

Blast. I'll have to start using a cloak again.

I can see it now. The bot operator will have to put his vodka down and push his fat girlfriend off his lap and find out why his ships are docked.

And then they'll see my face. Twisted

Why would veld prices drop? Because of the news regarding ore changes in null? Like null sec players are ever going to risk large mining ops in null sec. Bear

Because Nullsec should be completely worthless from a manufacturing and refining standpoint right? It's going to be pretty nice being able to actually produce things in our territory instead of having the source EVERYTHING from highsec.

Its not that it was difficult to scan, its that the miners can see the probes on D-scan, and know that its time to run.

Just a note from the high sec peanut gallery: In various incarnations my High alts in their corportions have had profitable and friendly relations with null sec alliances.
I think that one of the major effects of the changes will be a rapid re-writing of our contracts. The net result will be that mining will be less profitable for new players.

On the other hand there will be less extortion in null sec for ordinary modules null sec.

Just my view

Wait a minute.

Everyone knows you love to collect veldspar, but I never heard anyone saying that you would sell it!

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I hear Chribba has never sold any of his VELD mined & keeps it in Amarr with his VELDnaught & every morning takes a dive into it like Scrooge McDuck's daily money swim
