Whats next? being notified if the person has implants in his clone? Because that doesn't give him an advantage *at all*, right?

No.

Next we will have people trying to justify this broken mechanic with arguments that are so bad, they will be afraid to post them with their main.

EVE already is alts online. Im thinking that you and EVE have grown apart..

There are plenty of people who don't use booster alts. Its true their number is getting smaller but they are still around.

Also, implants on mail is exactly the same argument as boosters on mail. Good or bad argument i dont really care. Personally i reject it on the grounds of how eve generates mails and the fact that it currently incompatible with your wishes. Though, as always, dont let the reality of a situation get in your way. Also the fact that fighting someone who is boosted is pretty obvious to the experienced pilot. Though im pretty sure you had no idea i was boosted when i killed you the other day lol.

No its not the same argument. When you are involved with killing someone, your ship shows up, but not your complete fit. Not every module on the ship is shown. (Nor is the op asking that every module of the booster ship or any other ship be shown. Just that the ship itself be shown)

I think they take the view that if you want to see how the ship is fit you need to kill it. The same goes for pods. Every ship that is involved in killing someone has a pod. So adding a "pod" in addition to the ship to each killmail would be sort of silly. But I don't really care add "pod" to every kill if you want.

If they're involved they should be on it. That's all that needs to be said really.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.

There are plenty of people who use electricity. And then there are the amish.
So, anyone forces the amish NOt to use electricity? no!

At least they don't whine about it in forums. It's their choice.
The same way you chose not to have someone boost for you in fleet.

The KILLmail is a KILLmail. it is not a combat REPORT or anything. it shows who KILLED you, actively. Not what "went down". ok?

You right when put "solo" in the quotes.

But dont forget, this is designed for those who want looks as solo, and can pay for it. That''s mean "OGB in killmail" will never happens.

I used to do a lot of 1v1s in Dodixie. Always honored, popped people in my own corp who interfered on occasion. After a time, I started realizing that people were using boosting alts. It didn't make much of a difference, I generally won because of competence. But it began to annoy me. I eventually trained my missioning toon to be a Skirmish/Armor/Siege booster. Haven't been upset since!

CCP will never fix OGB. I don't know why everyone says that they will. Can anyone actually provide me a link that says OGB will be fixed? Because I only remember reading CCP saying that they believe OGB is bad for the game but no timeline was ever provided as to when a fix was coming. If no timeline was ever provided, then don't presume it to be fixed. It may just be "Soonish"

I remember reading a dev blog about it but I'll be buggered if I can find now.

Only thin that shows any detail is in this post

Not sure if this is legit though but seems to follow what I can remember reading.

OGB fixed? vOv depends on your definition of fixed I guess.
