So i decided to take the time to setup orders in these two systems.

Items I sell each day in jita (granted a little 0.1 pvp usually).

Most items I've put on as pretty much jita prices and these item's with large numbers sold each day.

and i've sold:

0 in 24 hours out of 4 bil's worth of sales.

You are right, stuff I would of sold all of in a day or two in Jita was really worth the time shipping here -.-

Don't waste your time.

/edit:
To clarify the items listed are extremely common and almost core items for frig/cruiser/BC pvp.

The market is really slow, I would avoid it also.

Made 123M profit over 3 days from the station.

i made 1Bil from 100mil isk with a trading alt over the christmas period. so money can be made from the RvB market, and that was just shipping from Jita and selling most of it at Red HQ, with a few items in blue.

I must admit i don't trade much now so i couldn't say if you'd do as well, but then you might do better.
I know there's a market on a few items.

Have been supplying RvB since 2010 and recently it has got alot of new customers, as a RvB pilot I started just hauling for myself as there was nothing around, and it just grew up from that.
I totally support what the OP is trying to do, it is odd how many holes there are in the market, and crazy stupid mark ups, so there is defiantly potential for profit over a limited range of items, but yes it is crazy how slow it moves most of the time.

Think there are a lot of RvB who are, or have, alts, and can supply themselves with jita being so close, courier contracts cost nothing for a bucket load of frigs + fittings, and most of the loot is stuck up on the market straight away.
I may also be totally bias as its a cut to my profit, but I personally have moved most of my assets on to hub trading, as the profit is pretty limited here.

Yup its one of my major market hub but if you were to listen to the people here they would have you you believe there is no money in frigs cruisers and bc hulls

Coming to MD and asking us to supply you without "crazy margins" is like asking a shark not to bite your legs off when you swim out too far into the ocean. There must be plenty of people in RvB who can better gauge the needs of the community, and provide supply with a special eye toward keeping the margins fair, no? Why doesn't RvB create that role and attract people from its own ranks to fill it? Their job would be to ensure that a certain range of items are available in Liekuri and Otela.

Or, you know, people could just peruse Jita remotely from Otela and Liekuri, buy the stuff they want, and have it shipped to them by courier contract.

I feel as if I am repeating myself so this may be my last reply, but surely you understand that publicizing this market here is only going to benefit the local RvB market, however small or large the positive impact is. Most RvB'ers are far too busy killing each other to do market trading.
As the market becomes adequately stocked, more members will stop saying "There are not enough modules on the market to fit my ships, I will do a large Jita buy order and have them couriered across" and start buying locally due to the convenience.

Frankly I am astounded at how passive aggressive some of the other replies are on here. I have rarely dealt with the EvE forums so I am not sure what I was expecting. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. Very simply, there is a market in our HQ areas, there is certainly profit to be made, if you are interested you simply need to weigh up if the profit margins are high enough for you. That's it. If it is not profitable enough for someone, then that is fine, I'm sure they will move on to greener pastures.

I think the general opinion expressed is that you represent a rather considerable amount of players coming from RvB. You should be able to motivate some percentages in your numbers to focus and operate such projects. If you want a saturated market maybe you should also show some more direct support regarding a rather overlooked and ignored aspect of the game. We have huge problems with industry and market features, and the last 5 years all we get is new shiny ships for you and yours to blow up. More new items strain the marketeers ability to do what your asking. Lack of market orders (currently limit is 315 on maxed tycoons) and public contracts being reversed so we have 1/10 public compared to internally.

A small RP explanation Spectre of New Eden.

Your basically asking very pro traders to do something they have little reason or tools to do.

You can create up to 400 internal contracts in corp. So you are better geared yourself already.
Alternatively you can actively recruit and hire market people or their alts to help you with such endeavors.

Any margins the activities your talk about can bring is very small considering the operational setup traders have already. Can your market support pulling someones attention, from business that already generate 100m minimum per day?

I think you might also want to read MD posts in general and you would see that people are being VERY nice to you in this thread, and trying to explain why its not really something as highly opportune as you might think.

That said there are always new market people getting into the business, and these might be exactly what your looking for.. Drop by the scc-lounge and see if there are any you could recruit for your business, or even recruit for internal management of finacial issues. I am sure many newer players would like to pad their CV with RvBs name.

Also why not consider a collaboration with EVE UNIs market training groups?

I hope you receive this as constructive criticism.

I would just like to inform the general EvE player base for those who are currently not aware that RvB operates 3 jumps out from Jita.

Basing from;
Otela II - Expert Housing Foundry (Red Federation HQ) [3 Jumps from Jita]
Liekuri VI - Moon 4 - Sukuuvestaa Corporation Production Plant (Blue Republic HQ) [3 Jumps from Jita]

With many thousands of kills taking place in RvB each month, RvB members look to purchase PvP modules off the market from their HQ to resupply.

It is mutually beneficial for industry pilots to stock the market, so that RvB players may have items to buy and market resellers can make a margin profit. If you wish to help stock these two stations, you will find that frigate, destroyer, cruiser and battlecruiser hulls and corresponding modules sell quite quickly.

RvB members are unable to go to Jita to restock (unless an alt is used) due to the constant war, getting into Jita and back with resupplies is often a suicidal endeavor for an RvB pilot.

Here is an opportunity for market traders to make steady ISK on market orders.

Smart man....

See guys what he is trying to do is create a market boom in his area... which means when all the indy noobs who dont clearly know where to RvB lives, and eve uni... and all those other massively large high sec alliances live... anyway.. so they rush their goods to the system.. and the newbros get caught up with just "undercutting" everyone else....

It makes the area very competitive via market, and when some dummy tries to hard to undercut someone, its very easy to just scoop up the goods, and repost them a sane prices... It's not really a "new" tactic though.

Either that or im over thinking it and its just a troll...
