..to get excluded because we havnt had the comfortable cash flow for all of the ten years to get a thank you from CCP

i couldn't afford eve at some points in my ten years nor fanfest though i would have loved to be there for the epic 10 year anniversary.

dont forget about the inbetweener vets ccp :)

we were always there in some capacity too and love what you do and if we dont.... expire before, would love to see eve to its end if there ever is such a thing.

And what were you expecting? How is CCP supposed to distinguish between "customer doesn't have the money" and "customer takes a break because he got bored of the game"?

Idk why everyone's trying to troll Maud, he's a decent player who's stuck around for 10 years in the game.

Although I do admit it'd be cool for people who've stuck around for that long to get something.

CCP can't give cards to everyone. Even Chribba didn't get a card because he must have taken a break at some point.

Because I'm sure the 4 guys that won cards were the ONLY four guys who have been subscribed since day one.

There's probably quite a few of them and they probably had some sort of raffle. Even if you were one of those who have been subscribed from day one you might still have not gotten a card.

this is not about the stupid card. i payed my sub on and off when i can, i would never expect a card.

it would just be nice not to focus on those with a free life and money to play constantly for that long and get a nod from ccp and thanks for sticking with it.

im not going to leave eve ever anyway and no amount or lack there of, gifts will change it.

i know a few guys that have been playing that long and its nice to be a part of it, but eve simply wouldnt be like it is without long time members putting in literally years of ground work.

you really should wait till its up on sisi to test that you can use the new station dedicated towards players who are 10 yrs old, it may be based on your character creation and not just because you've had a fully active account during those 10 years.

You literally missed the key phrase where unifex said that the officer club applies to all 10 year people and the graphics cards went to the 10 year people who never went unsubbed and were at fanfest.

I kind of get your point and did get a feeling when they were handing out the cards that, despite I'm sure those guys are really dedicated to eve, they are also obviously well off financially to be able to fund the account constantly for ten years. Where as someone who gets made unemployed would have to take a break perhaps or pay for a month at a time until they find a new job.

But as for your feeling of being owed something for having an old character, then surely just having had been a part of eve for almost ten years is enough of a reward in itself.

To be honest I'm surprised Chribba didn't get a card, he definitely should have in my opinion considering the amount he has done for the community.
