Fellow Podheads,

I was well thinking, seems as though that is all I'm good for, and it floated into my mind that if my sec status is unaffected by who I pod or whose ever ship I destroy, why should it be recorded into a statistic in a lawless system in space ?

(Walks into mech suit designed to gather samples of lava in the caldera of a volcano), I have Google searched the matter briefly and didn't see much similar to my idea, however that does not mean that this is the first time this theory or idea has hit the forums so I apologize in advance to all and I guess forgive the inevitable trolls for the opportunity I am feeding them! So here it is, lets turn off system statistics in Null sec systems. It would make exploration that much more interesting. And make probing skills for folks other than those living in wormholes that much more valuable. Not to mention that if a noob wanted to wonder of into a nullsec system and take his/her chances at having a go a whatever resources they find down there, they could potentially have time to get dug in and make something of it. Instead of being discovered by a larger blood thirsty entity that wants an easy kill the minute that noob blasts an npc, or mines a gas cloud. It would also make it harder for afk cloakers to move in and mess with operations they didn't spend hours scanning down! I think that it might make the vast majority of uninhabited lonely nullsec interesting. And not to just carebears. But also to the diehard PVPer. That will most likely be probing down countless unsuspecting victims not realizing they should have been keeping an eye out for there scanning probes and thinks that there safe causer they're out in the middle of nowhere space!

It's damn sure bad for a solo pilot trying to ninja mine or mission in nul and losec. Because that little screen tells everyone else 'hey, there's an idiot here, please go kill him'.

I really think those types of statistics, especially in sov nulsec, should only belong to the controlling party.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

Agreed,

In sov space there it should be stats, if they are player controlled I'm not sure if that is good or bad, but making it(nullsec) more interesting for those wanting to do those things!
