Hi,
I am making production and sales spreadsheets in Excel,does anybody have any good ideas or formulas for calculating brokers fees and sales tax in an excel sheet? I'm not an expert with excel,so any help would be appreciated!

Sales tax and broker fees are a flat %. So, merely divide the total ISK you'll get out of the production batch by that percentage, and you get the amount you'll be paying.
Then subtract that from the total amount to include in your total profit amount. Which, naturally, would be total ISK - materials cost - sales tax - broker fees - any other costs.

No, only sales tax are flat, broker fees are standing-related.

The broker fees formula is, thx to Eve-Uni : BrokerFee % = (1% – 0.05% × BrokerRelationsSkillLevel) / e ^ (0.1 × FactionStanding + 0.04 × CorporationStanding)

You might want to try ISK per Hour though. I gave up creating my own spreadsheet after testing it.

Wasn't the Eve-Uni equation was based off an old equation calculated by Lexander Morinex and Rho'varo from 2008?

The more precise one is by Chuuuuy from 2010. I've used this one since 2010 after comparing actual ingame figures with my spreadsheet and it is very accurate (not perfect though).

I recall someone posting Faction Warfare can affect it now, but I don't know if this is a fact. Perhaps someone can enlighten?

I didn't know that the exact one wasn't known, so here you go:

weightedStanding = (((0.69999999999999996 * Personal Standing To Station Faction) + (0.29999999999999999 * Personal Standing To Station Corporation)) / 10.0)

commissionPercentage = (Base Broker Fee * (2.0 ^ (-2 * weightedStanding)))

Broker's Fee = commissionPercentage * Amount of the order

If the broker's fee is less then 100 ISK, then the broker's fee is 100 ISK.

There you go, it's 100% accurate. It might not seem like it's 100% accurate, but that's because when you input the standings with the faction, you don't know the exact number because CCP rounds them.

So with a standing of 10 and 10, the Market Order Broker Fee unmodified by skills is 0.25%

The Minimum Market Order Broker Fee, which you can get with a standing of 10 and 10 and level 5 Broker's Relations, is 0.1875%

Still a flat % for your main station, though.
