really a question for people who know the game mechanics and economics much better than me.

what effect would it have on the markets and eve economy,
if there were no more JF´s or carriers in the game anymore.

basically all jump-capable ships that have the necessary characteristics (cargo space etc.)
to be viable to be of any real use as a cargo ship lose their ability to jump.

jumps could only be made via jumpbridges and stargates.

titans being the only ship still being able to be used to jump.

this is not a thread to ask for nerfing JF´s.
its a brainteaser about what if and its effects on pirces / economics in eve

thx

Big alliances have Titans. Titans kan make Titanbridges. Ships including freighters can jump through Titan bridges. It's only the small alliances that would die.

Grab Freighter. Take gate to LS, get webbed to POS.
Titan in POS. Bridge Freighter to Station Cyno in Null.
Warp to POS. Titan in POS. Bridge Freighter to Station Cyno in Null.

And so on.

It would be hell for smaller groups unable to afford this extravagance, and a mild annoyance to the larger groups who are able to.

There are enough titans in null to faciliate current trade. It would only bring more inconvinience to JF pilots making them to dualbox titan freighter and made null markes a bit worse but i would not expect any mayor change.

No it wouldn't.

Here's another perhaps more interesting question. What would happened if there were no more regional, area-affect, or solar system buy/sell orders and everyone one could only buy/sell at the 'station' level?

As mentioned the Titan and Jump Bridge exceptions would allow the established players to continue, but would make it much harder for anyone new to establish themselves.

More interesting would be: What if it was not possible to jump/bridge moon goo and intermediary moon goo products? (ship can't jump to cyno with goo in cargo or take bridges)

There would then be 3 options:
1. Move tech 2 production closer to the source of the goo to minimize transport
2. Try to escort freighters full of goo gate to gate to highsec
3. Rely on Covops haulers full of goo, gate to gate to highsec

'implifications' is not a word.

It's overcompleximplificated to explain.
