Solo pilgrim for 0sec

hey guys, I've been looking for a solo fit for my spare pilgrim. At the moment this is what i came up with.

Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
2x Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Small Energy Neutralizer II

10MN Afterburner II
Medium Capacitor Booster II (Navy Cap Booster 400)

So the idea is to get in close (5000m) with cloak. Uncloak...point...web...neut...orbit @ 4000m...releash drones...switch to S neut or 1 M neut...go afk and make coffee...loot wreck after 5-10 minutes and post killmail :)


After this i started looking to increase the dps, but all the drone damage mods are lowslots. So i ended up with shield fits. looking into a buffer tank and a active tank

and this is probably where it looks strange. where is the web? Why an ab instead of a mwd? you have room for it.
well I doubted a lot between the adaptive and a web. I went with the adaptive because when my target is neuted and scrammed I don't think many ships will have a higher speeds then 518m/s
The ab choice is easy. A mwd will drain my cap to fast and I hate micromanagement in a fight :)

With an AB, you will pop upon jumping into the first bubble camp you come across. Just an fyi.

This man speaks the truth, although AB seems to be classical choice for actual combat in Plgrim. You may wish to have both mods in cargo so you could refit. Of course, it can be problematic at times.

Also, last time I checked, T2 neuts and noses were still pointless, any reason of fitting them (that or I may be wrong).

Future of T3 cruisers - multi-tool they aspired to be instead of sledgehammer they have become

Nope, they still suck. (no pun intended)

As for the fit, MWDless cruiser in null... yeah, a bad idea. I'd suggest going with a dualprop, dropping the web and downgrading your plate to 800mm, that should do the trick.

I've beat quite a few bubble camps in similarly fit Pilgrims. If your tactics are good only a really good bubble camp will catch you.

Shield pilgrims are something you should delete from your fit database before you die in one.

Here's my current fit which I dub Mk.V so you can see I do have some experience with pilgrims. Solo you're targets are pretty much ratters though, you need the mwd to burn quickly towards them when you warp into an anom or through an accel gate, then use the ab to sig tank their guns and the rats that might shoot you.

The only thing the pilgrim could really do solo was to **** over mission runners with neuting them..

That doesn't erally work now because rats like switching to you the moment you uncloak.

Pretty much an update fit of what I used to fly. Requires a 1% pg implant to fit. It is designed for extended nullspace journeys.
