Turbine Billing System Goes Nuts

Turbine, developers of Dungeons & Dragons Online, Asheron’s Call, and Lord of the Rings Online have screwed up. Apparently they made false charges through an error in their billing system to figures in the thousands (like $2000 or more) to some player accounts for their games, even inactive not current subscriber accounts claim issus, on 4/22 Monday. They are supposedly trying to reverse the charges on their own and take care of the error but its not happened yet and a few people have literally been cashed out and left unable to buy basic family needs. There's a nightmare...

No charges from them appeared on my credit card statement that arrived today but I still feel a need to look into it. From my perspective these kinds of errors to this degree are simply beyond acceptable. You can read various posts about it in their game forums. I first read about HERE in the DDO forums.

I knew there was a reason I stopped playing DDO and LORTO.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

Some other company had this happen years ago but I can't remember who. For some WAR keeps coming to mind.

Thanx goodness I went Lifetime and reap the benefits of free 500 tpS every month.
