Read up on the Demographics of each government as well as their history. The Gallente are denying the Caldari their Home Planet. That is almost like the Minmatar not wanting to be slaves getting kicked off Matar.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Home planet-Shome Planet..That planet sits in the heart of the Gallante Federation, now belongs to the Gallente Federation, and rightful so. To the victor, the spoils!

What ever would we do without the U-Nat RPers Blink

Tibus Heth is basically Space Hitler and the destruction of the CNS Shiigeru was planned weeks, if not longer, in advance. As someone told me the following day, the real winners were the capsuleers who didn't bother showing up.

Also, funny the incident with Goonswarm attempting to influence the outcome of the Tribal meeting come up, as Goonswarm actually declared on the side of the Caldari in the Battle for Caldari Prime and got about half of their fleet into Luminaire before the titan ate it.

Well, good to know where you stand.

Doomsday Gallente Prime, burn them all for the State.

That would take a serious, serious retcon of years of fiction.

Or we could say that all of the news stories, fiction, etc. came from Gallente news sources and publishers. It's kind of a lazy solution, but it would certainly explain the heavy bias, shouting Gallente victories from mountaintops while barely mentioning Caldari victories in passing.

The whole "If I can't have it nobody will!" thing is so cliche. I'm glad the Caldari didn't doomsday the planet. Plus, if they did, the conflict would be over.

Caldari Prime remaining intact and belonging to neither the Federation, nor the State allows for future stories and events centered around that planet.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

LOL Yeah, the Caldari need to send Heth out in a blaze of glory fitting for a Caldari leader, send him down to Caldari prime riding a big enough doomdays weapon capable of turning the entire planet into a massive black hole...
