This idea has been removed due to the number of bots and and moon miners waiting to convert isk to sp.

I was smacking in local last night with some minnies and it brought to mind a new idea.
Skillpoints that are lost from clones that are not updated or T3 ship losses can be credited to the killing party(s).
It would be great to pop a T3 and get 100k SP for doing it.

I'd buy a toon, crash him once so his clone isn't updated, and then pop the crap out of him and rake in new SP on my main.

Love the idea.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

Quick fix to my idea. T3 losses only.

The only time I would ever consider giving SP as a reward is if they were already lost by the receiving party: ie. if you could somehow earn back SOME of the SP you lost.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

Not too bad, then. Train alt in T3, pop alt and still increase the rate of earning on main.

So I fly a T3 with only level 1 trained in all subsystems. Then my main kills that pilot over and over again for a net gain in skill points?

so you would spend 500m on a cheap t3 hull and pop it for a minimal amount of SP?
@ OP no it is a bad idea to mess with the way players gain skill points.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Sure would be nice if there was some way you could train sp into a pool for those indecisive times

I totally would. Over and over and over. There are plenty of us with too much isk and not enough to do with it. Converting all that to SP seems.... very bad.

More like 325 mill for some lolworthy but cheap subsystem combination, to gain up to 2 mill SP. Makes it an even worse idea, if that were possible.
