Has CCP ever thought about applying a cap limit for how many times a player can farm Incursion sitesQuestion

Also making easier access / tools for creating and forming Fleets so it's not the same greedy bastards. Twisted

I do sort of think there should be more ebb and flow in a lot of the PvE, so that it isn't whackamole. :x

Y'know, maybe a few weeks of ONOS GURISTAS INCURSIONS in GAL/CAL space! Lull. ONOS, ANGELS GONE BONKERS in Matari and neighboring space! Quiet for a week. OSHI SANSHA EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE.

I considered this a troll post, but in the off chance it isn’t:

There are currently about 20 FC’s doing Headquarters, probably double that number for Assaults, and everyone and their brother trying Vanguards. So think about the number of people you Trust in EVE, and think about whether 40 other people Trust that person as well. An FC will have to organize a fleet get 10 logis and 30 assorted DPS pilots, bring an OGB, and a supply of ships and equipment in order to tweak the new guy’s ships for fleet. All of this has to be organized and timed so people across as many as 10 time zones are available and ready to go at the same time. I know 3 FC’s I would fleet up with for HQ’s out of the 50k subscribers I see log in most days that’s a pretty small number (0.00006% as a percentage of daily players). Restricting their total number of sites allowed would mean that many Incursions just wouldn’t complete at all.

So, No there should not be a cap on how many incursion sites someone can farm, I know I have run fleets for 8 to 10 hours some days, rotating in and out fleet members as often as possible. Not because I need ISK, but because I had members in fleet that hadn’t had a chance to make ISK for themselves. I am sure I speak for every FC when I say fleets are rarely for us they are usually for the guys that need it. So ‘greedy bastards’ might not be the best term to describe the guys that are creating the fleets, organizing the fleets, sacrificing other game play, and dealing with whiners in the forums, so others can sit and hit F1.

The ‘form fleet with’ in the right click menu is a good place to start, once you have the fleet formed make as many squads as is needed for the sites you plan on running. Remember to train up leadership V or you will be doing your fleet no favours without wing warps, boosts, and broadcasts. Once you have this trained ‘Squad Command’ is needed to make your fleet work for more than one squad. So dedicate a month or so of training to be helpful to other players, then dedicate a few hours a day, every day, out of your schedule to gain the trust of other players by looking out for their needs.

Then when you come to the forums and see a thread like this, you too can feel justified in your indignation.

We don't even have an disslike button, let alone a cap on bad posts.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

We need stricter regulations to prevent more people from competing with the elite, incursions offer people with no jobs way too much incentive to play eve online. We need to make eve online less attractive to players who actually want to play it. I support everything the original poster has implied, and I hope more like minded thinkers join us in rebellion.

0/10 need to work on your prose, could have been a 10/0 if it read more like a James 315 post with the whole Wrath of God thing. Or, Get people back to work, make EVE online unavailable to anyone that doesn't work a 40 hours week for the IOBOD. (International Organized Brotherhood of Ditchdiggers)

That is a great point, +1 for making eve 'less attractive to the people who want to play it.'

Yes, that would be a fantastic business model wouldn't? Creating new features, and then limiting how much people can use them.

Brilliant. Roll
