I swear the OP is a bigger PR disaster than firing 20% of staff to keep the doors open and servers online.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

*snip* Inappropriate content removed, CCP Phantom.

Get lost, accept it. You got canned.
Maybe one of the smelly bums at the OWS protest cares. I don't.

Why is this thread still going?

It should have been allowed to sink to about page 20 by now.

Jesus, A nerd rage post from goonwaffle and a thinly disguised "I hate CCP management" post from Rote all in the same day??

wtf is going on around this place with all the useless pubbie tears coming from people who should be better than that?

Yep-to unsub is the way of protest. The best years of EVE are over. When my 2 paid CC accounts are due at the end of this month CCP will be losing just under 30 euros per month from me and I save 358 euros a year-whoo . Let me be the first to wish you all a Merry Christmas and deserved bleak New Year.

I'm not sure if you think I'm trolling or you were trolling.

I was actually being serious.

In short, they had to make people redundant, never an easy thing to do in a company. Better 20% than 30% or 40% or even the whole company.

So those being made redundant had nothing to do with the decisions (probably) but they ended up paying for it. That's life it happens, get over it and move on like those 20% have to. If WoD ever gets worked on again, they'll probably rehire some of them.

If you want to protest over a company laying people off, then make it fair why not complain about all companies laying people off, ok so it'll be in the 1,000,000 + range worldwide.

The fact is very few jobs are jobs for life these days.
