I nearly died in an almost aborted dual engine landing trying to get back for this in time last time round but made me there in one soggy shoed piece.

Would like to think I can do the same again I will undoubtely be space broless but would love to talk to someoneabout Dust controls and weapon designs.

Newcastle is a fair distance away from Norfolk, but I'd still be up for it depending on how much it costs for accommodation. Any idea what the going rate is for a room?

A corp mate and I attended this last year, it was absolutely fantastic. Great venue and quite informative, plus abducting a drunk Dev or two for after-event drinks is always fun ;)

Still wondering when CCP is going to put the flashy light back on top of the Navy Comet though...I never did get an answer. Having the cheif Dev mutter 'bloody pirates' was priceless though XD

For those wondering, there is plenty of accommodation available in Newcastle; the royal station hotel is the easiest to find and offers some very nice rooms for around £45-£60. Plenty of others around, travel lodge just outside the town gives you a roof over your head for the night at around £25 to £30. I'm personally traveling from London, prebooked train tickets are about £25 each way. Hope this helps!

Trust me, you'll know! Im pretty sure there's also going to be some kind of "after party" pub crawl again... Im tempted to start taking bets on how many articles of clothing SamuraiJack ends up yoinking from CCP staff, and then how many random articles of clothing he'll end up stealing from random pubs...

Anyone travelling from out of town shouldn't feel too threatened about finding the location, 5 minute walk from the train station and the city centre isn't all that big hotel's come cheap enough and if your really not fussed about where you stay but want to keep things costing as low as possible there are at least 2 backpackers places within 5 minuets of the venue, one just up the street,


for the out of towners happy to sort out some kind of meet and direct on the day or through tweetfleet. Really curious to see how busy things get when the weather isn't trying to end the world.

Is there any confirmation as to how to sign up for this event yet? As in, last year you had to sign up through EventBright. Is it the same deal this year?
