Duality online with first round of Odyssey balancing!

Error Message "... cruise missile failed to load.." while in wrap , switching missile types. All missile unloaded (empty).

There's a fix for this that hasn't been ported to this code branch, but thanks for the report!

I just did a fresh install of duality and this is what I'm seeing:
- Armor harder effects seem to be broken.
- Armor repping effect is missing.
- Mission gates: Your ship doesn't warp in the same direction as the gate. On one instance my ship didn't even have to align.

Positives of note:
- Minor: Hobs and Hammer reskin. Not sure if other drones are touched as well.

I can't get a warp to the gate back to high sec from the 6-CZ moveme system. it tells me my warp drive can not lock onto it.

The other gates in system seem to work just fine.

Singularity is preparing the build for the Dust release early next month. All things for the big release will be tested on Duality until everything settles down from that release.

Reactive Armor Hardner is not shifting resists properly, it is only plugging up the resist for the primary damage type taken.

For the sake of better QA, and early bug detection un-related to ship balance:
The Pin windows function is not working correctly ( windows change shade, but do not pin )
Gates in Mission areas and DED complexes are not pointing at the warp to target.

Mission AI seems to be using diffrent versions of the Old ( dumb ) AI, an early version of the Flexiable AI, and the TQ version, depending on what faction the Rat's are.

The Gallente and Amarr changes seem to be going well from what I have seen. For a bit I was having trouble figuring out why somebody would take a megathron over a hyperion after the changes, but then I realized that the tracking bonus on the megathron makes a huge difference when fighting a smaller ship trying to kite you. The megathron probably could use 25 of its drone bay and bandwidth back; however, it the extra bandwidth isn't possible, it could do with just extra drone bay for a couple of spare drones.

The ewar bonus on the geddon is nice, but it might end up taking over the dominix's former role.

They do have the Navy Faction Cruisers and Frigates seeded. (And if you mean the Pirate Faction ships, well, they haven't done any rebalances to those yet.)

I did wish to make a comment about the whole "teiricide" stuff ...

I've been doing all these Amarr ship tests with max fitting skills, max cap skills, and Amarr BS 5
Realistically with the ability get into these ships with 1 battleship level most newer players getting into them aren't going to have level 5 skills in fitting and cap.
I am seriously concerned that though I and a few of the other testers are able to fit them and make them atleast usable that these newer players to Amarr won't be able to.
I'm just unsure with the extremely small amount of us actually testing these changes whether someone with level 3 or 4 fitting and cap skills are going to be viable in these ships.
I would like to voice my plea for the dev team or the bughunters, if they have the ability and time, to test these ships with lower skills.

Caldari issues detected thus far:

Raven tank. It's bad. It's really, really bad. It has no staying power in a fight whatsoever and suffers in engagements where it may or may not be alone. It doesn't quite seem to have the right balance of damage and defense right now, it's base shield EHP nerf was unnecessary from the outset. Other than that, there are no real problems with the Raven; it's actually GOOD with cruise missiles in a PvP context, which is kind of surprising. Good job on that.

Caracal Navy Issue: Fitting.

It needs more grid. It runs out very fast with the six launchers and a MWD, leaving options for defense extremely limited (and ending up making it subpar in that respect to the Navy Osprey, although only slightly).

General problems:

Battleship MWD capacitor usage. It's far, far too high for current attack battleships to properly utilize their increased speed. It takes multiple cycles to reach top speed as is normal for larger ships, but the problem that battleships have that battlecruisers don't... Is that the Battlecruiser capacitor pool will last with the MWD on for 5+ minutes usually, whereas the Battleship gets around 2. This is kind of painful.

On a fun side note... if real men hull tank... where are my Hull Tank Warfare Link Modules!!!!! We can put them on Battle Orcas to use On Grid!
