What's with the silly question. It's high security space, of course it's safe.

No

why shouldn't they?

we're all playing the same game, with access to all the same tools.

If you live in Null / WH's/FW then yeah 600m isn't much.

Highsec players it takes weeks for them to amass that much mining / mission running.

Really wish some people would stop assuming that all players have the time and, more importantly, the means to make that sort of isk.

You can earn that in a day in high sec.

In which case, I would love you to enlighten me on how its done as I play on average about 3/4 hours a night and max out about 50m ISK running 2-3 level 4 missions.

Well, by doing something smart, instead of running missions.

Like, for example ... ask a friend to join up (it's an MMO, right) and go seek out haulers with valueable cargo.
No need to wait for haulers having billions ... a few hundred million each are enough already.

In the end, that'll make you much more ISK for actually playing the game,
compared to dumb missions, which give you exactly what you deserve.

Now before you complain ... you asked and i responded.
If you now say "that's not what i do", well ...
... then there you can find the reason why you can't make 600mill a day easily in highsec.

You could also learn how to trade and *easily* make more than 600mill a day.
Not at the first day, of course ... but once you figure it out, it's possible.

*shrugs* You only have yourself to blame.

You get what you deserve.

(ask Dave Stark if you don't believe me ... he went on a roam with me and he is/was a fullblown carebear *before* that)

sol, why did you even reply?

he feels entitled to 600m for 3 hours work, when other people put in more hours to earn that. he simply feels upset that he should put some effort in to the game for the rewards as if ccp should just hand out free isk to him because he's a special snowflake.

confirming this is true.

1bn isk in a mammoth, managed to scoop 500m of loot but i'm a complete clutz and i got popped. c'est la vie.
still proves you *can* make 500m in a single "transaction" in high sec if you aren't useless like me.

Please update your post, i've edited mine.

Why i reply ? Because he asked.
He has *no* ground whatsoever to complain,
but if he doesn't know options,
then we should tell him those options.

If he doesn't accept these options, though,
then he can't do anything else besides accept/ignore that the
only real problem is in what he "chooses" to do.

He, like everybody else, gets what he deserves.

(sometimes i wonder if it's ADD that i post and then edit the reply a hundred times for proper formatting)
(or because i forgot something, something else would sound better, etc etc -.-)

that would have been less embarrassing than me just being a complete ******.
no, i scooped the loot, but i was fumbling with my warp out and because you get suspect to every one when you scoop loot now it gave some people who had the same idea as us to pop me.

not a mistake i'll make again, mind you.

I must add something to this,
because i overlooked his post assuming not everybody can do this.

All you need for this is a mate in a properly fitted magnate with 1600m³ (awesome cargospace!)
and a rupture fitted with shields, an invul, artillery and damage mods.
Overheating helps too.

Oh and one more: Don't, like all the noobs, just sit at a gate waiting for a target.
Roaming around is much more fun. :)

So your basically confirming that for the casual gamer (which imo I do not consider myself to be casual, indeed I spend as much time in Eve as I do in my day job) that for 3 hours work its impossible to make 600m a day?

So you are basically totally contradicting everything you previous posts claims are possible.

A typical facicous forum post which this entire forum is endemic of where people just assume that becuse they play one way - everyone else plays the same way.

And at what point have I said I am "entitled" to make 600m a day? Have I complained about not making 600m a day?

No, all I have said is that its unrealistic of people on this forum to make assumptions on peoples play style based on their own game experience as some shallow way of just dismissing vaild points people try to raise.

If you really wish to help people, then at least try understand context befor making useless comments.

no, i'm confirming people who don't want to put the effort in, won't make 600m a day.
there's a difference you can make 600m a day, and you will make 600m a day.

there's nothing unrealistic about 600m/day.

And I'm saying that for 99% of people what play the game 600m/day IS unrealistic.

Unless you can tell me a 100% fool proof way of making 600m/day in highsec, I stand by my previous comment.

I happily make 500m a week by putting in 36 hours at least a week.

So how do you make 600m a day?

5 minutes of work building 10 tornados, 10-15 if you include the travel time of the freighter.

Jita is the safest system in EVE. We've been killing of evil do'ers. All the freighters we killed contained illegal goods and the pilots were dirty non role players and in general, baddies. One guy I personally killed was carrying Prostitutes and Slaves, another frozen corpses!

Just pay me 50m ISK and I'll add you to the master list of GoonFreinds. And you'll be safe to undock from Jita 4-4 and autopilot back to your mining space as you'll have special Goonstanding. Just like the Red Sea parted for Moses when running from those bad people wearing eye liner who mummified cats and children, Goons will part for you and then cascade upon any baddies like TEST (most of them also wear eye liner and are mummified basement dwellers) that will try and kill you as you venture past Perimeter gate.

I will personally escort your auto piloting ship all the way back to your ice belt to make sure you're safe and not bothered by bad people. If you send me a list of alts and where they reside, I'll make sure they're not oppressed and destroyed either; I'll even extend that to any POS's you might own that you need protected during this event.

Just send me 50m, I'll send you a fleet invite and you'll have no more troubles.

Is that supermarket in the middle of an abandoned town with dark alleys leading to it only, shady men in coats everywhere. Nasty sounds coming from every corner, occasional screaming and police drivebys.

safe?, nope. Jita has always been a dark hole for the scum of eve.
