What do the other options besides "Manufacturing" do when you right click a blueprint?

Material Research
Time Efficiency Research
Copying
Invention
Reverse Engineering

Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.  Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!!

One thing though. If im researching the material, does the blueprint itself get destroyed or lost?

No. The BPO comes out as more efficient.

Only BPC's cease to exist either when the max runs are manufactured from it, or when used on an unsuccessful Invention process.

Worth noting: ME research, PE research, and copy tasks are limited to BPOs. Invention is limited to BPCs. Either can run manufacturing jobs. So you cannot improve the ME/PE of a copy, nor can you make copies of copies, but you must make copies of an original to do invention.

I'll also add that ME/PE research levels make NO difference to invention success chance.
